Okay, so here's the update on a sequel that I promised. I'll try to keep it brief.
I am planning on continuing Charlotte and Eli's story. It isn't going to be another 107k word book, though. Rather, it'll likely be 10ish long chapters of their time in college with minor time skips in between. Think of it more like a novella. And instead of making it a separate book on Wattpad, I'll tack it onto the end of this one. So just keep this book in your library, and you'll know when it's coming!
I haven't started working on it, except for some planning on scenes/events to focus on. That being said, it'll be a few months before it's on Wattpad—probably until late-fall 2021.
Why will it be a few months? Well, there are several reasons. I don't want to give a definite timeline and face the possibility of not delivering. I'm also in school and working two jobs on top of being in 4 clubs, a sports team, and applying to college this fall. On my list of priorities, Wattpad falls close to the bottom. And finally, those of you who've been here from the beginning know that I hate sharing a book that hasn't been completed and edited. I prefer to polish the book up and make changes to the entire thing before publishing it for people to read. Not to mention, it saves me a bunch of stress about falling behind in schedule.
Why isn't it going to be a full length book? I just don't have the time to write one and have it ready in an acceptable amount of time. In addition, there is another book that I've been working on lately that I am much more passionate about than the BOHB universe. While I love these characters, I am currently having so much fun writing my new book. But that doesn't mean that I won't be working on the chapters for the sequel!
Will I post anything in the meantime? Yes! I actually wrote a novella last spring that I will be sharing. It's a romance, but not the part of a romance that everyone finds on Wattpad. Instead of meeting the guy and falling in love, the MC is trying her hardest to fall out of love with the guy for reasons that are revealed as the book goes on. That's all I say to avoid spoiling I Capital L Love You! (There aren't any triggers that I can think of, other than death/illness of a minor character)
The chapters are relatively short, so I'll be posting Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Expect the first one Monday Aug 16!
