Kayla POV

Gossip travels fast around school. It only took two days for everyone to know.

How?

Someone over heard the principals converstaion with Wyatts parents. He was in rehab. Getting the right help he needed, even if it made his parents potentially broke.

I know everyone in my family knows. I hear them talking about it. Not just that but their change of actions. Where am I? Who am I with? All those questions I get asked on the daily.

I can feel their peering eyes on me as I walk down the hallway in school. I even heard Dad and Louise talking about drug testing me. But they both made a point of trusting me.

I have no effort in telling them I don't do drugs because it will only make me look guilty. So I just hope they stick to their word about trusting me.

"I can't believe he is gone away for three months." Gabby spoke as we all walked to our table. A red tray in her hand filled with today's lunch.

"What does it matter Gabby? You didn't even know him. None of us did." Lee said. Side glancing at me.

"What do u mean none of us knew him? She is literally walking right beside us. Plus where have you been Lee? Last time I saw you was three days ago." India threw a questioning glance towards him. Her eyebrow raised.

Looking between the three of them as we took our places at the table. Everyone was silent. Waiting for Lee's answer for his disappearance. He hasn't been in school nor has he been answering anyone's texts.

"I had stuff to sort out." Lee said. His eyes casted down at the table. Only coming up to glance at us before he started to pick at his sandwich.

"By stuff to sort out was it sitting in a library for all hours?" India questioned again. Popping a peanut into mouth as she analysed Lee.

"Are you stalking me or something?" Lee looked shocked but I've never seen a guiltly face before.

"No idiot. You have your location on. Plus I was worried." India shrugged.

"India is right. Lee we were all worried for you. You made no contact with any of us. Especially everything that is going on, we all need to look out for eachother." Gabby placed a comforting hand on Lee's arm.

"I agree. If one thing I have learned through all this shit is we have to stick together no matter if shit hits the fan." I finally speak up. My attention is fully on Lee.

"Lets make a pack. To stick together even if shit hits the fan." Gabby laughed as she placed her hand down on the table.

India glanced at all of us. She lifted her hand up, placing it on top of Gabbys.

Giving in I placed my hand on top of theirs.

We all stared at Lee. Waiting for him to give in.

He let out a sigh. Placing his hand on top of mine. Goosebumps travelled up my arm. We still haven't talked since etheir.

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"I guess we're now all bound or something?" Gabby shrugged.

"Maybe we should all say something at the same time to complete it?" India said.

We all shared a look.

"As cringy as this sounds. I think we should call ourselves the misunderstood." I suggested.
