"What you both are married for one month and a week now " Mom said while grinning ear to ear.
"Mom I have some important meeting to attend this week" I said trying to convince her.
"That won't be a problem as you'll be going there next week and I am not taking no as an answer" She said.
"But-" Before I can complete my sentence mom again interrupted me.
"I already told you I don't want to hear excuses" Mom said sternly
"Okay fine" With that we bid our bye and started walking towards my car.
When we both were walking towards my car I noticed Feyre grinning. She looked like she was remembering something funny and then smiling a real smile. One thing I noticed about her is that she doesn't smile a lot and when she does its mostly a fake one.
"Why are you thinking about?" I asked her and frowned as she looked at me and shook her head and this time it felt like she was controlling her laugh.
Then she told me how funny I was looking when my mother showed her my childhood videos. I looked at her amused as since the last ten minutes she was thinking about my childhood videos and photos.
"You should've seen your face when mom told us about her plan on our honeymoon" I told her while scowling as she still didn't stopped laughing.
We soon reached home back as I opened the door for her.
"Hey is that blood" She said as she noticed blood on my hand.
"Yeah back at the mansion while cutting fruits with mom it happened. It wasn't bleeding earlier"
She took out her handkerchief and hurriedly covered my hand with it. After dragging me towards the kitchen and forcefully made me sit on the chair.
"Wait here" she said as after sometime she came back with a first aid box.
"You should be careful" She said cleaning my blood.
After that we talked or started making fun of each other and laughed hard remembering all the funny incidents and our reaction to them. After sometime we started walking back towards our room.
--- Feyre's POV
I think my day wasn't that bad. Suddenly we both heard a bark but before I can see something Luke jumped on me as I fell with a thud and he started licking me.
'I declare myself dead'
"Rest in peace and yes you said it loud and I heard it clearly" He huffed as he helped me getting up.
We both went back to our rooms but as always I will play games, listen to music while dancing, overthink and then sleep. That's what I do before sleeping but first of all I have to sneak snacks.
I silently walked towards the kitchen for snacks. I was stealing ice cream as I only found two packets of snacks when suddenly I heard a voice and no this time it isn't Luke.
"So now finally after 1 month and a week I found out why are there no snacks every morning when I want to eat some"
I turned as Mr. Knight was staring at me looking amused. Hehe...
I wanted to hit myself so hard to save myself from embarrassment but then I will be declared weak and have to eat soup and if that happened how will I eat these things. He started coming towards me as I moved back.
"I hope you don't mind sharing because I am hungry too" He said while grinning and then he sat on one of the chair while eating.
We both started eating and when we were finished we said goodnight as he went back to his room.
'Maybe today wasn't that bad ' And then I held my toe as it collided with on the edge of my bed and I again fell but thankfully on bed.
After groaning, crying, rubbing my toe and playing games I fell asleep.
