I know I'll never reach perfection
I'll add a tear to my collection
a jar of my hot liquid sadness
at least it helps contain my madness
if you could pick apart my brain
you'd think I was a little insane
my thoughts can often make you laugh
but if you dig deeper they are a little bit sad
I like the way soap makes my hands all foamy
the way my hands look a little bit bony
how my rabbit's ears are so very soft
and clothes from the dryer come out nice and hot
tell me some amazing stories
I promise you they won't feel boring
play me one of your favorite songs
maybe we can sing along
I feel a connection

obsession
for lack of a better rhyming word I think I've lost my mind
once a spider was outside my house and we had a conversation,
next thing I knew,
there was a spider or two inside the house-
my shower is not a vacation destination!
so maybe I do a few weird things
but trust me when I say I'm not crazy,
no, I wouldn't say crazy.
