Chapter 8

Oriya Deronte

We arrived at the safe house about 15 minutes ago. This time we went in separate cars. Thank fuck. Right now, I was showing Vincent and his two friends around the house and their rooms.

Before I did, I changed into black sweatpants with an oversized shirt. I wanted to be comfy. My gun was tucked in the waistband, in my back of my pants and my dagger was in my sock.

I learned the name of the boys. Luca and Theo. Lucas was the one whose nose I broke and Theo was the one holding Vincent back. Apparently they already knew my name because of Vincent and the stories they've heard.

"And this is your room Lucas." I said as I opened the door and walked in. All the rooms had the same interior except mine, since I had to spend time here before.

"It's plain," he observed, looking around, "and dark." he said as he opened the blinds.

"Seems like a you problem." I shrugged and walked out.

"And this is your room Theo." I showed him as I opened the door. He walked in and looked around before just nodding.

"And you, your room is in the middle of theirs." I said, looking at Vincent. "My friends will be here shortly. I will introduce you to them when they arrive for now, get comfortable." I said as I walked out the room.

There were six rooms in the big hallway. Three right in front of each other. When you first enter the hallway, Kena's room is on the left and Lucas's is on the right. In the middle of both sides, is mine and Vincent's room. Mine on the Left and Vincent's on the right. Going further down the hall, Sienna's room is beside mine on the left and Theo's is in front of Sienna's.

My father and I discussed that I will be the one leading this all on my own. He thought it was a good way to prepare me for when I am donna. That apparently gave Leo an idea, and handed the situation to Vincent. So now we're the ones who lead this whole operation on how to find the guy.  We have to work and make decisions together.

All they told us to do was go on a mission together. They told us it will be a good way of 'bonding.' I refused at first, but Lucas can be very convincing when he screams in a very high pitched tone.

My phone buzzed twice. One was a text from my father. A picture to be more specific. Him sitting on the beach with a pinna colada in his hand. The other was from Kena letting me know her and Sienna had arrived.

I went down the stairs and opened the door. Kena looked up. Excitement twinkled in her eyes. She had a big smile on her face.

"I heard there's boys here. Are they hot? And tall. Are they tall?" She asked as she dragged her suitcase in the house. Looking around the house for the 'hot boys.'

"And hair! Do they have nice hair?" Sienna asked as she ran inside, nearly running over Kena.

"Oh my god! Yes! And hands. Do they have nice hands?" Kena said, raising her finger.

"Holy fuck, shut the fuck up! They're upstairs! Control yourselves, horny shits." I said looking at the stairs, making sure nobody was there and heard it.

"Oh shit." Kena whispered.

"Are they though?" Sienna whispered.

This girl. As much as I hated Vincent, he was hot. Really, very hot. His friends, not so much.

"No, they're fucking hideous. Now shut up I'm going to call them down." I hushed them.

"Who's ugly?" Someone asks.
