Jungwoo woke up to the familiar scent of rose water, taking a big whiff as he gently dug his nose into the locks of the girl sleeping soundly in his arms. He couldn't help but smile despite the fact his arm was getting sore from Grace resting on it all night.

It felt like his dream had come true, and he couldn't be more thankful as he hugged the girl a little tighter, placing a soft kiss on the exposed skin of her neck. They had been given a second chance at life, a second chance to be together.

As Jungwoo's hand found itself over her stomach, he couldn't help but think about what could have been theirs. He didn't find out about his child until Grace had entered the dimension of the dead, and by then, it had been too late.

There were some days where he wondered what it would have been like if they hadn't died. What would they have named their child? What would it be like to watch the life they created grow? How would the two of them be as parents? Would it be a warm and loving environment like the one he grew up in?

There were so many questions that remained unanswered, and there was nothing Jungwoo could do about it. The choice was made many years ago and there was no going back now.

Grace began stirring beside him and Jungwoo naturally moved his hand so it was over hers, the sound of metal clanging taking him by surprise.

"Good morning." Grace whispered, her voice raspy from just waking up. Jungwoo's mind was somewhere else though, instantly lifting her left hand so he could see it clearly.

"You're wearing your engagement ring." Jungwoo breathed out in awe. He felt this warmth spread through his body, a smile growing on his face and it was simply because the beautiful ring he had selected was finally sitting on the hand of the girl he loved. "I thought you wanted a better proposal."

"I did." Grace mumbled in response, turning so that she was facing him. He naturally stared into her soft brown eyes, lacing their fingers together. "But I need a new vare and seeing that you're using the wedding band that you bought yourself, I might as well."

"We're going to get married anyways." Jungwoo said, slipping his hands around her waist, pulling her in. "You can't leave me, I won't let you."

"I won't, you know that." Grace said and the two giggled as they shared nose kisses. "But not anytime soon. There's just too much that we need to work on right now."

"But Grace." Jungwoo whined with a pout, hoping that would help. "I want to."

"I know you do but I want a good wedding and now is not the time for it." Grace replied, gently pushing his arms off her.

Jungwoo felt cold the second Grace left his side, desperate for her return. As she started getting ready though, he knew their moment was over.

She soon returned, ripping the blanket from his body before cupping his face, giving Jungwoo a quick kiss.
