Even days after that day, Lolade won't stop thinking about the forehead kiss. Her insides had been set on fire as she watched Jesse walk back to his car like he had done nothing.

The girls had cooed at her and tried to drag words from her but Lolade found it genuinely unable to say anything.

It wasn't she got home that day that she realized that Jesse had also helped her to handle her prize money. Some people had come to see her mom.

At the end of the day, part of the money was saved while another part was to be used to open a shop. Her mother had also told her that she would have to stop hawking as she would be in SSS3 and she wanted her to focus on her studies.

It wasn't until the next day before Lolade and the girls realized that their moms had all told them the same thing.

With her phone, although Lolade had not seen Jesse for about four days, they still kept in contact and they chatted a lot. The first day they chatted, it wasn't until Jesse had told her to go and sleep that Lolade realized that it was already past 1am in the morning.

Christopher and Tofi had also messaged her and once in a while she said hi to them.  Saturday was drawing nearer and to say Lolade was excited would be an understatement.

"Modelling?" Tolani asked in surprise as Lolade swallowed her saliva and nodded.

"Yes" Lolade replied slowly.

"Wowwwwwww" Moni cooed as the girls burst into laughter.

"Do you want to do it?" Nifemi asked as Lolade nodded quietly.

"I want to try it" Lolade replied honestly.

"Girl, with this your face ehn. Modelling na smaz joor" Faith said as Lolade laughed while the girls continued talking.

"You do want to try it?" Nifemi asked as Lolade turned to her.

"Huh?" She asked as Nifemi smiled.

"Is there something you want to tell me?" Nifemi asked as Lolade swallowed her saliva.

Out of all the girls, Nifemi was the one was the most closest to. The latter had a way around people.

"I'm scared" Lolade replied as she pursed her lips quietly.

Nifemi leaned on the faded wall while staring at Lolade.

"Scared of what?" Nifemi asked even though she knew exactly what Lolade was talking about.

"Scared about myself. Scared of....." Lolade replied her voice trailing off.

"I like him so much. I'm scared he won't like me back" Lolade added her voice very much smaller.

"That's all?" Nifemi asked as Lolade nodded her head.

"After all, we aren't even the same. He's rich and me..... I'm a hawker" Lolade replied her voice getting smaller at every word. Nifemi almost didn't hear the other half of the sentence.

"Okay" Nifemi said as Lolade froze before turning to her with wide and surprised eyes.

"That's all?" Lolade asked as Nifemi shrugged.

"What else?" Nifemi asked as Lolade pursed her lips.

"Isn't this the point where you try to comfort me or something?" Lolade asked as Nifemi burst into laughter.

"You've been reading too many wattpad books" Nifemi replied as Lolade shrugged.

"They are actually really nice books" Lolade said as Nifemi chuckled.
