Chapter twenty two.
MADEENAH.
It was early in the morning and both Sahib and I were in a hotel.
I look over at his sleeping figure. His back was facing me and I noticed something, red mark was all over his back.
Could this be from his father? Is that why he ignored my question?
I fail to understand why Sahib and his dad despise each other so much. I trace my fingers over his bruised marks and he winced in pain.
I quickly move my fingers away. I climb down from the bed and quickly took a shower throwing some clothes on.
I decided to go for a walk around the hotel.
"Do I need to remind you again to stay away from Sahib." A voice said and I turned to find Sahib dad behind me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"For the record I own this hotel so I should be asking you this question." He said.
I was about to turn around and walk away but he grabbed my hand forcing me to walk with him so it won't be suspicious to the people walking around.
"Let me go." I snap and his hand on my grip tightened and he dragged me into an office.
"You think because you have Sahib now you've accomplished something?" He said as he walked to the office chair and sat on it. "You think he loves you?"
"What are you saying?"
He brought out something and threw it at the end of the table where I sat.
It was two birth controls.
"Why are you showing me this?" I asked confused.
"One of this is birth control and the other is a vitamin." He said. "Taste them, you don't have to swallow it."
I looked at him suspiciously.
"I'm not gonna kill you." He said.
I opened the pack. The first one tasted bitter that I spit it out immediately and as I took the second one it was surprisingly sweet.
"Does that taste familiar to you?" He asked and I nodded. "See how this pack looks exactly the same so Sahib switch your birth control pills for this one, so you'll get pregnant with his child."
