The Gilmore's all sit around the table at their weekly Friday night dinner.

"Dinner was lovely Emily" Richard says to his wife. "Mira does make a perfect cassoulet" Emily says.

"Who's Mira?" Lorelai asks. "Our cook" her mother answers. "I thought the cook was Heidi" Lorelai replies.

"Oh no we let Heidi go months ago, she had a problem closing things. The door, the refrigerator" Emily informs her daughter.

"The liquor bottle" Richard adds. "Then it as Trina,Then Sophia" Emily lists.

"I liked Sophia" Richard says. "You did not" Emily tells him. "I didn't?" he questions.

"She was the one who sang" Emily tells her husband.

"That's right, terrible woman" Richard says. "And after Sophia we had Anton" Emily says.

"That's right. Anton was the one that I liked" Richard remembers. "I'm sorry uh dad how do you mix up Anton and Sophia?" Lorelai asks her father. "What do you mean?" he asks.

"Well one is a man and one is a woman" Lorelai explains.

"And your point being?" her father replies. "That one is a man and one is a woman" Lorelai repeats.

"I have a lot to do in a day Lorelai, I don't have time to keep up with the multitudes of people your mother employs" Richard explains to his daughter. "But one is a man and one is a woman" Lorelai says for the third time. Then the cook walks in.

"Oh the dinner was so wonderful Mira" Lorelai compliments.

"It's Sarah" Sarah corrects. "Oh I'm sorry" Lorelai apologizes before Sarah walks back into the kitchen.

"Mom, her name is Sarah" Lorelai says to her mother. "I thought she said Mira" Emily says. "Hey grandma, these plates are really pretty" Victoria says trying to change the topic.

"Thank you Victoria. They were your great grandmothers" Emily tells her granddaughter.

"Lorelai the first" Richard says. "I thought mom was the first" Rory says.

"Not in the name" Emily says. "No but in so many other things I was a regular trailblazer, just finishing your thought mom" Lorelai says. "Lorelai the first was my mother. She was an extremely accomplished equestrian, a distinguished parton of the arts, and she was also world famous for her masquerade balls. She was quite a woman my mother" Richard says.

"Yes she was. Mira come cut the cake please!" Emily calls out.

"Yes and why don't you bring Sarah out here with you?!" Lorelai yells.

"So Lorelai, how are things at that charming little inn of yours?" Emily asks her daughter.

"They're still charming and little, and we're just crossing our fingers it doesn't become rude and large" Lorelai jokes. "Moms having a big wedding there this week" Victoria tells her grandmother.

"Really?" Emily's asks. "Yeah, actually there's people coming from all over the country." Lorelai confirms. "Well, isn't that nice?" Emily says.

"Yeah" Lorelai replies.

"And girls, how's Chilton?" Emily asks her granddaughters. "Okay done with me now" Lorelai says.

"I'm sorry, was there more to the story?" Emily asks. "Uh the twins have to picks team sports to play" Lorelai says. "It's a requirement" Rory says.

"Physical fitness is as important as intellectual fitness, so says Plato and so say I." Richard says.

"What sports are you going to pick?" Emily asks her granddaughters. "I'm gonna go for track because running is about as far as my athletic skills go, but we're not sure what Rory's choosing yet" Victoria answers.
