JENNIE POV

KRING!

I groan and stretch my arms then grab the phone "Hello?" I yawn and sit down

"Lis-Jennie baby?" My eyes widen when I heard Kai's voice in the other line. I look at the phone and notice it was Lisa's

"Kai?" I look at Lisa who is sleeping soundly then get up and went straight to the living room "How did you get Lisa's number? Why did you call-"

"I was so worried about you babe! You didn't answer my call and I can't contact your phone anymore"

"I-I'm s-sorry, it fell in the lake babe and I'm sleeping here at Lisa's condo since we're just relaxing after a busy day and I'm getting my phone fix"

"Fix? Just get a new one babe"

"New one? Kai! I just got that phone and it's full of memories!"

"Full of memories of you and Lalisa? Oh come on Je-"

"Why? It's your fault anyway why we don't have a lot of pictures! You never even prioritized me in the first place! All you care about is work!" I shout and end the call

"Hey~ Nini why so loud?" I look to where Lisa was and she was pretty cute rubbing her eyes

"Sorry did I wake you up?" I walk towards her and give back her phone "Oh? How-"

"My phone is damaged and Kai called here" I sigh and walk towards her kitchen

"Do want to go and buy a new phone?" Lisa follows me to the kitchen

"No thanks I just want it to be fixed" I flash her my smile and she just nod in response "Anyways what do you want for brunch?"

"Anything would do Nini" Lisa smiles sits on the chair but her phone rings again "I-it's the dog, Nini" She scoffs and hands me over her phone "Just take it and I'll be the one to prepare brunch" Lisa smiles and gently pushes me out of the kitchen

I sigh before answering the call "What?!"

"Babe, I'm sorry an-"

"You can't take back your words anymore Kai! You already said it! If you're saying sorry then-"

"I'm at the here airport babe, I'm on my ride back home now"

"Ok, is that all?"

"Yes babe and I'm sorry again. I love you"

"I love you too" I sigh and end the call then walk back to the kitchen

"So?"

I look at Lisa and sit on the kitchen counter "Kai is coming home"

"Okay but you look like you're not excited" Lisa flips the pancake and face me

"Should I be?" I scoff

"Well you've been away from him for weeks and he is your fiance. Shouldn't you be excited? I mean you will do your prenup photoshoot and the finalization of your wedding" Lisa chuckles. I look at her and I can see how in pain she is right now and I hate myself for doing this to her

Well to be honest? I don't know why I'm not excited. I feel like the percentage of my excitement lowers and lowers everytime Kai wants to see me. I don't know if I'm already falling out of love or I'm really falling for Lisa
