CHAPTER 17: SOMETHING BIG

Draken announced for the meeting to conclude the Bloody Halloween to start and Mikey came up in front with Hanma and Chifuyu behind him.

"Today's meeting will be a bumpy ride." Draken whispered.

"You said it." I replied. I'm still bothered by what I saw earlier when I shook Takemitchy's hand and I cannot stop thinking about it. I'm too distracted with the thought and didn't even bother listening to what Mikey's saying since he already told me about this earlier. I tried to reason out with him that having Valhalla in Toman is not a good idea, but he insisted for the gang to grow bigger for brawls against larger gangs.

I secretly walked over to the 5th division to avoid drawing attention to me since Hanma is in front. I don't want him to notice me plus I have to tell them to keep on eye on Hanma since he is a threat.

"VALHALLA IS NOW AFFILIATED WITH THE TOKYO MANJI GANG!!" Hanma announced which made our guys shocked then when they realized our number is going to get bigger, they started cheering.

Valhalla merging with Toman... is that the reason why THAT future is going to happen?

I have to stop that from happening.

"Somebody helped to connect our two gangs. It's thanks to him that this is happening at all! Please step forward, TETTA KISAKI!" I clenched my fist and I can feel my blood boiling from what Hanma said.

FUCK! Not him again! I need to get rid of him ASAP!

I want to punch them.

I want to kick them.

I want to get rid of them NOW.

I'm trying to fight the urge to attack them. My feet are ready to run towards them and my arms are ready to swing punches at them when suddenly I felt a warm hand placed on my shoulder.

"You need to calm down, [alias]-kun." A familiar voice spoke and I turned around to see azure eyes staring to my dark eyes. It's Sanzu. I relaxed my body and took a deep breath.

"I know you're worried of what might happen, but as long as you and my division find something against the two of them, then we can get rid of the threats in the gang." I nodded in reply and tried to keep my cool for the rest of the meeting.

"There's also someone we lost. The first division captain, Baji Keisuke, died on that day. We must reflect deeply on this reality and take it seriously." Mikey sounded and looked sad when he said those words and I cannot help but shed a tear and bite my bottom lip.

Baji-san... I miss you, buddy.

"I'll let you say the rest. Vice captain of 1st division, Chifuyu Matsuno!" After Mikey said his name, I felt something tickle my heart and slap me back from my sad thoughts.

Chifuyu started his speech which I listened to it well as if I cannot hear nor see anyone, but him.

"I'M GONNA NAME THE GUY I WANNA FOLLOW!!! TAKEMICHI HANAGAKI, I NOMINATE YOU AS THE FIRST DIVISION CAPTAIN!!!" I felt my lips curve to a smirk and the feeling of being proud not just at Chifuyu, but Takemitchy as well.

This is the start of a new plan to get rid of Kisaki.

"TAKEMICHI HANAGAKI! Raise your head and give us your response!!" Silence filled the whole place at first since Takemitchy still cannot believe what's going on. That's normal for something big that you least expect to happen.

"I'LL DO MY BEST!!!" Takemitchy shouted in reply. I can sense how overwhelmed he is and as usual, he is crying.

Our crybaby hero.

The meeting was adjourned and everyone started to walk away and leave, I quickly went over to Chifuyu and he looked at me in surprise when he saw me getting closer to him. I smiled at him even though I'm wearing a mask, but I know he can see it with my eyes.

"You've made the right decision, Chifuyu." I placed my hand on his shoulders when suddenly I felt the same thing when I shook hands with Takemitchy.

BZZT!!

I saw a glimpse of the future—Chifuyu lying on the ground while still tied up on a chair. Blood is coming out from his head and beside him is Takemitchy tied up in a chair too. Almost the same to what I saw from earlier.

"[alias]-kun? Are you okay?" Chifuyu looks really worried.

"Y-yeah. I just felt a spark when I touched your shoulder. I'm sorry haha!"

"This is what Baji-san wants, right?"

"Of course! I guess I didn't have to tell you after all. He left me some of his last wishes just in case something bad happened to him. Ah speaking of, here. Have this." I handed over a necklace to Chifuyu.

Jingle!

"A necklace with a bell pendant?" Chifuyu looks confused at first so I pulled out my necklace that's hiding under my clothes.

Jingle!

"Now we match! That's exactly the bell Baji-san had. It was a bracelet at first, but the straps were too worn out so I made it into a necklace instead." Chifuyu's eyes started to tear up and when he noticed that, he quickly turned away so that I won't see his crying face.

"Baji-san, you idiot!" He's trying not to let out his crying voice which made me giggle a little.

"Yeah, Baji-san was an idiot."

"Hey, do you have any plans for tomorrow?" He asked while still his back is facing me. I was about to say that I am busy making plans on dealing with Kisaki and Hanma when I remembered what I saw in the future.

"None at all! Let's go on a date!" I grabbed his hand, making him face me. Our faces are just a few inches away. Staring directly at his sparkling eyes despite being surprised to what I've said. It made me realize how much he means to me, and I cannot waste any opportunities to be with him, especially when I saw the future.

"A d-date?"

"Yes, you and I!"

"I'm the guy, I should be the one asking you to go on a date with me." He chuckled and scratched his head while his face is turning bright red.

"Does gender even matter on who will initiate to make a move first? I like you, Chifuyu. I won't waste an opportunity to be with you; no matter how busy I am, I will always make time for you."

His lips curved into a smile and hugged me. Good thing it's just the two of us who were left in the shrine or else the others will be suspicious about us. He then looked at me in the eyes and said,

"I like you too, [name]. Ever since we first met, I already liked you." I gave out a small chuckle.

"Looks like you have to tell me more about that and I'll tell mine."

"Sure!" Chifuyu happily replied and gave me a head pat.

Baji-san, I finally told him my feelings!
