Dear Diary,
It's been week since Lucas left. I haven't done much. I try not to think about how I won't get to see him for maybe months.
Kayla has been coming to the beach with Bailey and me sometimes, but she has summer school so it's mostly just Bailey and me. I also got a nasty sunburn because I ran out of sunscreen. They say California weather isn't bad, but then you get a sunburn. The worst part is I can't take hot showers or else it feels like my body is on fire. Stupid sun.
The idea to start a YouTube channel has been swimming in my mind. I just have no idea where to start if I decided to try. Lucas would stream on Twitch with his friends sometimes and it looked like a lot of fun, so maybe I can do that? I don't know. I don't have much motivation to turn on my PC, but I don't want to just give up on my idea because of that.
I told Bailey about my YouTube idea, too. She, of course, said she wanted to be in every single one of my videos and would help me start off. So at least I have someone who will root me on if I do decide to go for it.
