Valentina's POV
" I'm sorry what ? " I ask staring at her as if she was crazy.
" You have 7 brothers Valentina " she says laughing.
" So you're telling me that I have to live with 7, wait no 8 men ? AWESOME. "
" Awesome ? " she asks looking at me weirdly.
" Yes awesome. Do you know how much fun that would be ? The amount of pranks I could pull, the video games we could play. The hoodies I could take from them. This is living the dream " I say leaning farther back into the car seat.
" Well that sounds like fun Valentina " she says chuckling a bit.
The rest of the car ride was silent.
I just stared out the window, deep in my thoughts.
We finally arrived at my house.
" Ok Valentina, I'll be waiting for you in the car. When you're done we'll head back to my office where you'll be picked up by your brother " she says.
" Why is my brother picking me up instead of my father ? " I ask curiously.
" Oh well your father isnt in the country at the moment sweetie. He will get here tommorrow night " she explains.
With that I turn around and head into my home.
I make my way to my room and start packing my stuff.
I didn't have a lot of clothes, so everything just filled up my school bag.
I didn't have anything else besides clothes, so I just left my room.
Before I get back inside the car, I turn around and stick my middle finger up at the house.
" Finally outta this b*tch " I say smiling to myself.
I get in the car and put my seatbelt on.
" What was that about " Amy says eyeing me suspiciously.
" Oh nothing " I say looking out the window.
She just drops the topic and looks at my bag.
" Thats all you have ? " she asks raising her eyebrow.
" Yea ? My so called parents said I wasn't worthy enough to get more clothes, so this is all I have. Most of this stuff is from my bestfriend Tristan. " I say shrugging my shoulders.
It used to hurt from the fact that my parents call me worthless, but now I just don't care anymore.
She just stared at me.
I'm guessing she dropped the topic seeing the expression on my face.
The rest of the car ride was silent.
About 20 minutes later, we finally arrived at her office.
We get out of the car and we head inside the building.
It was a normal building, nothing fancy.
" Ok Valentina wait in here, your brother will be here shortly " she says with a smile on her face.
" Mhm " I hum a response and she walks out the room.
I just sit there fiddling with my fingers, not knowing what to do.
I don't know where I put my phone, so I have nothing to do right now.
About 10 minutes later Amy comes back to the room with a very tall man beside her.
