Still not home but I had some spare time this evening.

'Here we are: As you might know or not, this is Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, the last stop for maany people. Though, you don't have to worry about yourself as you appear to be... almost fine. Should I get you some painkillers?'

An approving hum comes from the pitiful mass of human flesh that is curled up on the ground and formerly known as (Y/N). Even though most of your weight was carried by Hu Tao you still had to run with your own feet. The pain of every step equals a stab in the leg and since you have to multiply this by 250 you can imagine what the painkillers are for.

The quirky brunette climbs up a chair to reach a shelf with different types of bottles on it. Taking a small green one she comes back to you.

'Now open your mouth and say 'aah'.', Hu Tao places the open end of the bottle at your lips.

You obey and feel a horrible combination of spiciness and bitterness enter you mouth. Before you can spit out the liquid, the girl next to you quickly puts her hand on your mouth so that nothing can come out. 'If you want the pain to go away you have to swallow. Sadly, the best medicine often tastes the worst and due to the fact that you can barely talk and that I am interested in what happened, you have to bear with it for now. I will change your bandages in the meantime, alright?'

Not waiting for your answer she starts to remove the covering layer of bandages around your legs. In response to that you whimper like a beaten dog.

'Still better than Scaramouche. In a dark corner of my mind I can already hear him call me puppy... God, he ruined that nickname for me.'

Hu Tao whistles. 'You look worse than most of my clients. Impressive~ Kinda worrisome and sad, but impressive.'

Ten minutes later your capability to speak returns which is also noticed by the prankster as your body seems to relax.

'Soo~ What happened? Legs don't look like an massacre for no reason.', she observes you from above with a curious glint in her eyes.

'She looks so beautiful... Well all the playable characters in Genshin have their charm, but she is so close right now...'

'Hello? Still there?'

Realizing that you have been staring without giving an answer you blush slightly. 'S-sorry. ...What was the question again?'

'How come that I have to rescue somebody sitting on a roof with demolished legs?'

'Ah right. The simplest way to explain it would be that I provoked the wrong person. I knew that he was an àsshole beforehand but he was basically begging for my remarks. To escape the abusive gremlin I took my chance and climbed on top of the roof in hope that somebody will help me. You know the rest.'

Hu Tao seems surprised. 'Everything happened just because of some simple remarks?'

'Yep. You would be surprised how fast people loose their cool these days.'

'What an angry Chihuahua you found... I guess that you weren't there willingly then?'

You suppress a small laugh. 'Angry Chihuahua... Too bad I didn't think of it back then. That dog-lover would have loved it. And no, I wasn't there voluntarily. I think he had too high expectations of me and more or less kidnapped me.'

'I see, I see... Poor you.', she pities you while squishing your cheeks. 'Poor poor you. Do you want a coupon for the case that anything happens in the future? I will do my best to keep you away from dangerous and violent people but better to be safe than sorry, eh?'

'That question had to come.'

'Nah. I am too poor to pay for my funeral even with a discount.'

'And if the coupon guarantees  an 100% discount for adorable people as you?'

You think for a moment. '...Then I'll take one. I question your taste, but I will take one.'

She squeezes your cheeks harder. 'Aww, don't say such things. To come back to the money part though - Did you leave any of your belongings in the house of that guy? Should I try to get something back?'

'I had to leave my companion, a Seelie, behind and that's it I think... Please don't try to rescue it though, that would be far to risky.'

'Did I posses anything else of value? Financially I relied on Aether after all... What about that...' You put your hand around your neck. Not feeling anything you search for it all over your body. 'I am missing the fancy stone.'

'A fancy stone? Is it important?'

'It is something I have since...birth and therefore it has great value to me, but it could be that I lost it even before being kidnapped. The last time I saw it was when leaving Mondstadt. It could be almost everywhere...', you sigh.

'It will turn up sooner or later, don't loose hope. Anyways... Hm, if I think about it I don't know your name yet.'

You smile awkwardly. 'I am (Y/N), sorry for not introducing myself earlier. I know yours so you don't have to tell me.'

'(Y/N) then, do you want me to cook you something? Or is there anything else you want? We could also do some fun things. Planning a prank with you sounds so much fun. So, how about it?'

Do you people ever look at birds and want to simply hold them in your hands and pet them, or am I just weird? The birds here come way closer than where I live and I am really tempted to pet one but at the same time I don't want to scare it and look like an idiot. Sorry for the rant.
