Aang breathed the fresh air that hit his face as he tightened his grip on Appas rains...he suddenly felt a little voice approaching him

"dad" 3 year old Bumi whispered

Aang smiled at his son's sight "hey buddy" he patted a spot next to him, the kid clumsily sat near his dad...

"whats up with mommy?" asked Aang realizing he didnt hear his wife for a while

"she fell asleep...and I think shes drooling" the kid shrugged, Aang chuckled hearing little snorts coming from Katara... then there was silence, they just looked at the view in front of them and breathed the fresh air.

"dad..."

"yeah?"

"wheres our home?"

Aangs eyes widened "what do you mean Bum?"

"cause...the other day" he began fidgeting with his fingers

"...Izumi said her home is the fire nation and asked where I lived...but we leave everywhere!" the child opened his little arms to emphasise the sentence

Aang took a short sigh "Bumi...you know im the Avatar and that Im pretty busy..."

Bumi nodded

"and since the world is still healing from what happened a long time ago, we have to live as guests in all the nations for now"

Bumi looked down...trying to understand "what happened?"

"youll know one day..." Aangs eyes a little nostalgic

"mhh...alright...its cool traveling with you and mommy anyways, but I really like the last city we saw! Its pretty!" Bumi smiled at his dad

"Cranefish Town?"

"YES!" he clapped his hands together as a happy gesture

"well its-" Bumi interrupted the airbender

"daad..."

"yeah?"

"I dont like its name" the boy pouted

"mhhm...you dont?" Aang grinned at his son

"It needs a more cool name, something more...MAJESTIC!" Bumi laughed

"alright, alright...any ideas?" said Aang smiling jokingly at his son

"mhhm..." Bumi frowned...lost in thought, his eyes suddenly lightened

"Appa Town!" he began jumping up and down on the beasts head, proud of his invention

"mhhh...I think were gonna need something more majestic"

"you think so? But Appas really big"

"even tho youre right Bum, this city will be even bigger than Appa"

Bumis eyes widened "bigger than Appa!?"

"yeah, so...a name for something bigger than Appa?"

Bumi began muttering things to himelf

what did uncle said the other day...rapi...ropli...

"...REPUBLIC!"

Aang quirked an eyebrow

"Republic City! YES YES YES!!" Bumi began clapping his hands together, Aang watched his son smiling but began thinking about Bumis words...

Republic City...

Aangs eyes lightened as he talked "Republic city it is!"

"its perfect! right??"

"it sure is!" Aang smiled while releasing Appas rains, to pick his son up and place a light kiss on his cheek, making him laugh

"haha Stop!"

Aang carefully placed his son down again and picked once again the rains

"dad"

"yeah?"

"earlier you said that we live as guests just for now...then where were gonna live?"

"in Crane- Republic City, remember the Island me and mom showed you?"

Bumi nodded

"were gonna build a temple there, and live there"

"sounds good...a temple for what?"

Aang shrugged...he couldnt tell him about the airbenders "about the love that me and mom feel for you and your little brother"

"mhh..."  at the realization of what his dad said he turned to him

"my what?"

Aangs eyes widened, he wasnt supposed to say that but-

"daaaaad?"

"uh...me and mom will explain it to you later" he tried to mask his nervousness with a smile

Bumi frowned "what? what do you mean? I have a secret brother that nobody told me about?"

Aang sighed

"tell me! tell me! tell me! tell me! tell me! tell me!" Bumi began pulling Aangs cape, at Bumis screams Kataras eyes began to open.

She scratched her head and blinked a few times, trying to figure what was going on

"MOM!! Youre up!" Bumi rushed to the saddle to hug his sleepy mother

"hey sweetie...what's happening?" she kissed her sons head

"Dad said I have a little brother but wont tell me anything about it!" Bumi scoffed

Kataras eyes widened as Aang facepalmed himself

"I thought we were gonna tell him together" said Katara, her tone a little bit higher than usual

"I swear it was an accident! We were-"

"Mom I want to know!!" whined Bumi

Katara sighed, rubbing her head

"Bumi...well tell you later...k?" Katara lovingly smiled at her son

Bumi gave up and sighed "fine"

Katara gave a sigh of releaf "now rest a bit, the fire nation is close"

Bumi made his way more into the saddle as Katara sat near her husband, on Appas head

She leaned her head on her husband's shoulder
"what happened in the 5 minutes I was gone?" she slightly chuckled ad the words slipped out of her mouth

Aang shrugged "a lot actually, he asked multiple things and I just...you know" he made an embarrassed grin, Katara smiled
"he had to know anyway"

"yeah I guess so..." he sighed

then there was a relaxing silence...just when Katara began to close her eyes-

"sweetie" said him

"what?"

"we should write to Sokka as soon as possible"

"why?" a confused frown on her face

"we found a name for Cranefish Town" Aang grinned

Kataras eyes widened "really? what is it?"

"the most majestic youre gonna hear in a while" Aang smirked

A/N: and thats it! we saw in Imbalance how Sokka wanted ti find a name for Cranefish town so he has to know it first of all the ppl I guess, Its was cute writing this...Id love to explore Bumis and Aangs relationship cuz idk I think its cute and interesting<3...vote, comment and lmk what you think!
