The dawn came.

The soft and gentle rays of the morning sun reflected across the newly renovated room of the duchess.

From the expensive marbled floors which could reflect one's appearance, the imported and lush immaculate carpet, high-quality furniture and highly valuable upholsteries, the newly painted and decorated walls and posts and the special edition sets of silver, golden, and crystal wares and even vases and other ornaments that could be found inside were all extraordinarily valuable and costly; the Duchess room which was shouting pink from every corner has already been renovated according to the simple yet classy preference of the duchess and Leonor's consideration.

The room which originally had no name was now named the Crystal Diamond room. From its immaculate white and sleek flourishing design and theme together with glimmering gold, crystals, and other precious gems as decorations around, no wonder the room was named as such. It exuded splendor, grandeur, and opulence that a duchess room should have.

The renovation has just been fully finished three days ago and the duchess opted not to move back into it right away. Atallie has told Leonor that she would be moving back three days later, and now, to fulfill what the duchess wanted to do, Leonor, with the duke's permission, moved Atallie from the adjacent room wherein the sudden incident happened to her newly renovated Crystal Diamond room.

However, the duchess couldn't even see and appreciate yet how the room has been fully renovated because the dawn already came but the duchess was not yet awake.

Leonor, together with Atallie's personal maidservants were already starting to get nervous, even more, when noon eventually came and there was still no movement from the duchess or any sign of waking up.

But the one who was currently truly frantic and agitated was the old physician Terry. His entire face was paled under the terrifying and cold aura of the duke who was looking at him with his deep and dark orbs that could shoot daggers and strike through one's soul.

"Tell me, what is wrong." Duke Calex spoke with his stern and deep voice that sent shivers down the spine of all the people inside the room.

"Your Grace, t- this servant didn't diagnose wrongly. There is truly nothing wrong with the duchess and her cold is already gone this morning. I already checked a few times and the duchess should have already awakened in the morning but now..." Terry spoke with his voice a bit shaky along with his white beard.

"So, what should we do?" Duke Calex asked. His stern and cold voice together with his austere aura were not changing since he barged into the room not long ago to check on the duchess after finishing his morning tasks.

"We can only wait for now or ask a wizard to check on Her Grace," said Terry.

"Sebas will most likely reach within the day. Until then, see to it that the duchess will remain unharmed and no other issue will arise," said the Duke as his sharp and fierce gaze darted through all the person present inside the room.

"We understand, Your Grace," Terry and Leonor answered in unison. Then the maidservants followed.

Duke Calex looked to each one of them with his fleeting but stern gaze before he walked out of the room, leaving Leonor, Terry, and the four maidservants behind.

Inside the Duke's study room.

It's already night and the wizard, Sebas, who was the duke's personal wizard, was able to reach the estate a while ago and has been tasked to check the condition of the duchess right away. Duke Calex didn't go along to the Duchess room and was now just waiting for Sebas to come and find him.
