I entered a room that follows an office and was greeted by six pairs of eyes that matched mine. I was ecstatic to see everyone after so many years, but I just can not show it because I still can not forgive them. My 'father' introduced himself, but none of the others did.
They were watching me, and when I nodded to my father, I took a deep breath and introduced myself. " "Hello, my name is Giselle Rose, and I'm assuming you're familiar with me." Something flashed through his eyes...hurt?...what?...no, but he quickly pulled a small smile out.
We walked out, and I noticed Bran walking out with his parents too. I was about to meet him, but Papa's voice called out, wow already calling him papa huhnot that I'll call him in real "Where are you going, Bambina?" " I point at bran and his parents. He was about to say something when he was interrupted by another voice.
"why?! Who is he?!" It was one of the twins whom I don't yet know the name of.
I flinched slightly at his tone but hoped no one noticed. I was already irritated and snapped in my usual cold tone. "He's my best friend, and he's going with his parents as well, I'm going to say goodbye even though it's none of your business and I have my car I'll follow you guys."
I took the chance of papa's nod and went up to Bran. " BRAN," he turned around and saw me, and he approached me, his parents close behind.
"Hey, you okay?" we asked, and he laughed, and I just chuckled. I lied and said, "I'm fine." "you?" "Honestly I don't know, I feel overwhelmed. I think we need to talk and I have no option but to go with them," he says hugging me tightly.
"I'll call you, I think I'll be here for a few more days now that I've met my 'family.' "
I hugged him back and said hello to Mr. and Mrs. González before walking back to my car and meeting them where they were waiting for me. I was pleased to say they feign surprise at seeing my car. This is only the beginning I thought, as we drove off to their house.
