Y/N sat quietly in her shop, munching on some cookies. She decided to take some rest after the long work. She was wearing normal clothes that consist of a white button up shirt and pair of black pants, not her long coat and hat. Her long grey hair was held up in a bun and still covering her eyes, in her hand was her treasured chain of the 7 mourning lockets.

She recently has received two mangled corpses from a hospital that trusts Y/N's work. She was impressed when she found something really interesting in those corpses.

"I wonder who did this?... Their work is fascinating~" She smiled after she thought this.

Suddenly, there was a knock on her shop door, "Hm? I'm sure I put the closing sign." She mumbled, standing up and walking toward the door. She took a hold of the door handle and twisted it to open door. Y/N took a peek and saw Yuji and another man with blond hair, she smiled, "Hi~ Yu chan! It's a great surprise to see you visiting me!" She greeted, opening the door fully. Yuji was surprised, it's the first time he saw her in casual clothes. She even had her hair tied up.

Yuji nodded and hugged her as soon as she opened the door, "I missed you, Y/N san!" Y/N laughed and hugged him back, giving him light pats on his back. After they pulled away, Y/N pointed at the man, "Who is your friend?" Yuji looked back at the man then to Y/N, "This is Nanami san and we're here to ask for help." He said.

Y/N looked at the man and smiled, "It's nice to meet you, Nanami san. My name is Y/N..." She greeted and the man slightly bowed, "It's nice to meet you too, Y/N san." Y/N waved her hand dismissively, "No need for formalities, I'm nothing but a humble undertaker. Now both of you get in, we can't discuss the matter here." She said, moving to the side to let them both get in.

As they got in, Y/N took them to her study in the back where the two took a seat. Nanami explained everything to her about the disfigured corpses and Y/N immediately linked them to the corpses she received a while ago, "I believe I know what you mean. Follow me." She said and took them to her workshop or what she likes to call it her small lab. As she opened the door, both Yuji and Nanami looked shocked.

"Aren't they the same?!" Yuji asked, pointing at the corpses on the tables.

Y/N nodded her head, "I received those two corpses from a hospital that I have a contract with. They said they couldn't figure out how to work on them, so the send them to me." She explained, moving toward the two corpses on the metal tables. "And what did you discover, Y/N san?" The blond man asked her, somehow being suspicious of her, "What I discovered is that they used to be humans. This disfigurement was forced upon them by what you call a cursed energy. Definitely not a human's doing." She explained, not telling them everything she actually discovered.

It's still early to expose herself just yet.

"So you think it's done by a curse?" Nanami questioned while crossing his arms. She nodded, "Yup, a curse that is mastered in disfigurement." Answering this, she moved to her drawers and pulled out stack of papers, "These are copies of my reports and the police's reports, feel free to read them." She added, giving the paper to Nanami.

He skimmed through them, "They could be of a use to me. Thank you." Y/N just nodded and looked at Yuji, "How are you doing with your training Yuji?" She smiled softly at him which made him blush, "I-It's going great, I manged to use curse energy today." He said while scratching the back of his head.

Y/N laughed and ruffled his hair, "I'm proud of you~"

"Y/N san!"

After some information exchange, it was time for leaving, "Thank you for your help, Y/N san. We will be leaving." Nanami said, offering his hand for a handshake. Y/N gladly accepted it, but said, "Would you like some extra help?"

Both males looked at her while she smiled at them.

After putting on her daily attire and top hat, Y/N was taken to Tokyo Municipal Shuuei High School  Detached Office. There she sat on a chair of one of the tables with a hand on her cheek while Yuji was leaning on the same table, Ijichi was standing near the door and Nanami was standing in front of a blackboard with a map attached to it.

Nanami started to explain more about the situation, "I've recognized the reports from our windows on recent residuals, unnatural death, and disappearance. This should help us narrow down the culprit's hideout to some extent." He explained and Yuji stood up, "Aw yeah! Are we storming in?" Yuji exclaimed with excitement.

"No, it's still only to some extent" Nanami monotonously said, putting a hand in his pocket. He gave another mission to Yuji and it's to investigate a boy named Yoshino Junpei because he suspected that he might be a curse user which is an evil jujutsu sorcerer. Shortly later, Yuji and Ijichi left, leaving Y/N and Nanami alone.

"You're supposed to go with them too." He said while leaning against the blackboard with his crossed arms.

Y/N giggled, "No, I'm helping you. You already know the location of the culprit, don't you? And not just 'to some extent' hehehe." She said while putting her chin on the table.*

Nanami stared at her for a while, "Of course. If the culprit had wanted, he could have left the scene without leaving any residuals. We're being lured again." He told her which made her stand up and walk up to him, "Weighing the risk of storming in alone against the risk of taking Itadori kun and you with me, I simply chose the former. He's still a child and you're just a normal shop owner, after all." He finished.

He was surprised when he felt her hand on his shoulder, "It's going to be alright, I appreciate you not risking Yu chan's life. But my life is something I decided what should I do with, so don't question my decision. I'm helping you and that's the end of it." Even though she was smiling, but her voice was firm. Like she wasn't back off easily.

Yuji suddenly rushed in the room, "Nanami sensei, Y/N san!"

Y/N looked at him, "Yu chan."

"I forgot to say something. Be careful you two, okay?" He said with a smile. Y/N gave him a thumb up while Nanami softened his gaze, "Itadori kun... I'm not a teacher, so please don't call me sensei." He said.

"Nanami, then!"

"I will slap you."

Y/N just laughed at them, "Those humans are really interesting."
