"Hey, can we stop by my house real quick? I need to get my name tag for work later." James asked.

"Sure, whatever."

We make our way towards the rough, beat up, Wingate neighborhood.

"Please don't tell me you live in Wingate?" I complain.

"Yes, I do."

"Well then, I'm going in with you."

"Kay" he shrugged.

I gripped onto his sides more through the entrance.

When he pulled in, I noticed there was cardboard in one window, that looked as if a bat was thrown, and there were steps that had cracks running all through them.
But as soon as I walked in, my mouth dropped. It was like we were in another world. It smelled absolutely amazing, and there is candles in every direction. I didn't want to leave. I had to stop and breathe it in.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." I reply, a bit embarrassed.

As we head upstairs to his room, I can't help but ask, "So what's up with all the candles?"

"Umm, my mom likes candles..EVERYWHERE." He widens his eyes, motioning our surroundings, and opens his bedroom door.

"Hey, Jimmy-" A girl said, walking our way from a room.

He blushes.
"Stop calling me that."

I look down to hold back the laughter.

"Who's this?"

"Lizzy, go away-" He demands.
But she stays anyway.

"Christina-"

"Oh, so you're Christina! Hmm-" She teases him, then leaves for downstairs.

As we enter his room I ask,"Who was that?"

"My little sister, Lizzy. She's a butt."

"I see-"

"Here it is!" He waves the name tag in his hand.

"Dudeee!"

"What?"

"Can I touch it?!"

A bearded dragon.

"Oh, really?"

"What?" I walk over to the glass.

I bend down, but not much; I'm so short it's near my height.

"I just never thought you'd like anything crawling.." He admitted.

"Well, again, you thought WRONGGG-O."
