Addison Cullen and Jasper Hale walked around the house in complete silence keeping an eye and ear for the wolves stalking around their home, to Addison, it seemed that even the normally cheery birds and other critters were in the same silent and gloomy mood, and Addison knew that all the silence wasn't a good thing... There used to be a time when Addison loved just being in Jasper's presence, "intimacy often speaks louder than any words can", is what he used to tell her when she babbled on and on, but now the silence was unbearable...

Addison was tense waiting for the argument that she knew was coming, any moment one of them would burst, she just knew it was coming by the way he acted, each little movement showed that he was ready for another argument... his pitch-black eyes were trained on the ground avoiding eye contact, his hands were buried in his pockets as he swayed from side to side, and he sighed under his breath like he didn't want to fight but it felt it was necessary for their relationship.

"If we're gonna fight can we just get it over with?"
