It's been three days when Karina woke up with a burning fever and heavy headache. A part of her hoped.. that maybe she came back. Maybe, it was all just a dream.

'let's end this'

Those words kept echoing in her mind, four years and it only took three words for it all to end.

She hid her face under the blankets when she heard their door open, eventhough a part of her hopes.. she knew there's no other reason to keep holding on.

Karina felt the bed move for a bit

"Just like what you said," Giselle started, "The rain pours and the sunshine returns so crying is pretty much the same.. let it all out Karina."

Tears fell out of the blue and they fell one after the other. Karina tried to wipe them away quickly but she couldn't dry her eyes.

"I.. I saw the photos Rina." Giselle bit her lower lip, she knew it's not the right time to ask about that but she wanted to know the truth

Karina sat up which shock the other. Her eyes were dim as she looked outside the window with her watery eyes reflected on the light of the city

"We were planning to sabotage the engagement, it's no more than that." Karina shortly explained.

Karina laughed, she laughed like there's no tomorrow until her laugh gradually turns into tears and soft whimpers

"I'm fucking stupid." She whispered in a wavered voice

Giselle enclasped her with a hug, "What are you gonna do now?"

"I don't know. I had plans for us. I included her in all of my future plans but I messed it up." She sniffs as silent tears streamed down her face

"You can still talk to her, but for now you should rest."

"Did she tell you about Ms. Kim?" Giselle inquired

She narrowed her eyes at the latter, "What about her?"

"She was confined at the hospital and it was said they both quit their job at Soleil and Damzel. Did you know that?" Giselle revealed

Karina was bewildered, "No! I left the company too and I was.." She put her hands on her head

Her expression fell immediately, maybe her heart would never be fixed after this. Karina never knew how crazy love can make her feel. She had always screwed with it, never taken it seriously and played with everyone because it's fun

And now, it's as if she's hit rock bottom all over again. It's too late to realize that, because she knew Winter had left for good. She was the reason why the girl left in the first place. She had done something unforgiveable and as much as she want to turn back the time.. she can't.

Everything is happening too fast. They were just laughing and snuggling the other day and now no one knows when will be the next they'll be together in the same room

It's much worst because they lived together. How are they going to survive without each other now?

"I want to see her, Gigi"

Giselle sighed. Her friend looks like she'll go crazy before the sun even rises, yet she still nodded her head in agreement.

"Okay, we'll see her."

Karina tried everything to get her mind off of whatever is happening, but how can she? The only solution was to meet Winter again. Her mind was on Winter and Winter only

....

"Are you sure about this?" Giselle asked. They've just arrived at Winter's old village

Karina nodded her head as they make their way towards the younger girl's house. The feeling was nostalgic, wasn't it just yesterday when they first slept on her house? Wasn't it just yesterday when she first met her mother? Time sure went by so fast, she thought.
