Soon after that confrontation, the Black Shadows Pack held the ceremony to honor and officially induct their new Luna to the pack. For those who had been in doubt of her legitimacy or competence, it didn't take long for them to be convinced of her worthiness. Over time they all grew to love and appreciate the wonderful Luna that she grew to become. A true gift of the Moon Goddess and a perfect complement to their Alpha. Where he was forceful and strong, she was full of grace and mercy. When he was weary and discouraged, she was strength and valor. Together they were a force to be reckoned with, a cause for good and wonderful leaders who took good care of their pack.

Even Jennifer soon recognized the legitimacy of the pack's Luna, and offered her services as one of the escorts to see George taken to the Council for his sentencing. She felt it was a good excuse to get away from the pack for a while, as she recognized not only the inappropriateness of her past behavior, but also that Jade was a much more fitting Luna than she herself could have been. Furthermore, she was still recovering from the beating she had taken when they had gone to save Jade from Luther's pack, and she wanted an opportunity start fresh somewhere else.

Jade's old pack, The Silver Crescent were too few in number and without any semblance of structure or leadership that the Pack was dissolved. However they were elated to find out that Jade had survived after all of this time, and all were invited to join Jade and Dante among the Black Shadows pack, and many did.

A temporary leader was established by the Council to oversee the Blood Moon Pack, after the demise of Luther. It had been a large pack, full of warriors and strong-blooded wolves, but as Luther had never mated and had no heir, there wasn't a rightful individual to take over as Alpha, so the Council was tasked with determining the most appropriate individual for that role.
