Ryuji POV
It's been a few days every since mine and Toru's...break. We haven't talked since then and whenever we bump into each other, neither of us say a word.
"Sir, you've gotten a message from the principal" Arvin says
"Go ahead and bring it up" I say
I quickly read the message and it seems Nezu wants to see me in his office real quick to talk about the reactor.
"Be back in a bit Arvin, I'll try making this quick" I say with a sigh
As I'm leaving the dorm, I notice that absolutely no one is in the common area
"That's odd...You'd think there'd be at least one person here" I think
I make my way over to the principal's office and once I get there and open the door, I'm surprised to see the entire class inside.
"Sigh...I forgot about this" I say
"Takashi, I'm glad you could make it. I'd like for you to be here for this meeting with Endeavor" Principal Nezu says
"I already told everyone that I wasn't gonna help. From what I know, Izuku is doing just fine" I say
"You don't understand Deku!" Katsuki shouts
"Oh and like you understand him any better. Let's not forget who knew about his little secret first" I say
"And let's also not forget who didn't even try to stop him in the first place!" He shouts now getting angry at me
"It's not like I'm the only one he told! Did you forget about All Might or Endeavor? And whoever else is with him?" I ask
"Guys, please! For once this isn't about you two! This is about Deku and how we can help him!" Uraraka shouts at us
"I already told you all about how I feel when it comes to him! I've got no right to even criticize him when I've done the same thing!" I shout
"I ask that the three of you all calm down. Takashi, I all I ask of you is that you at least stay here and listen in on the meeting" Nezu says
"I've got my own problems to deal with...but fine. If it'll get you all off my back, I'll listen in" I begrudgingly agree
Eventually Endeavor does arrive and I sit back in the corner of the office as I just listen in. Todoroki and Bakugo confront him and eventually, Endeavor tosses some kind of GPS tracker that Sero manages to catch. The whole class then states how they'll do everything within their power to being Izuku back here and help him against All For One.
"These guys...they really do care for him" I think
As everyone, with their newfound determination, leaves the office one by one. It's eventually just me, Nezu, and Endeavor left.
"I assume you haven't changed your mind?" Nezu asks me
"Not really..." I say
"Then before you leave, remember that I do mean when every student falls under our responsibility" he says
"I know I know. I wasn't completely not paying attention" I say
"Kid, I don't know what's going on with you or whatever. But if I can offer any advice, don't make a choice you'll greatly regret at one point. I say that greatly regretting my own past mistakes" Endeavor says
"I sometimes think I'm past that point already..." I respond
With that, I leave the office and head back to my room. When I get there, I look around and despite all the machinery and inventions around...it still seems empty.
