We were sitting around the table with Yelena's family, I looked at her face. She looked on the verge of tears.

This is the first time in many, many years she has seen any of them.

When Yelena got off the mind control, the first thing she did other than go shopping for her vest was find me, and break myself out of it as well.

When we weren't being mind controlled in the red room, we were best friends turned to lovers. At night when she would get nightmares she would sneak herself into my bed and I'd hold her.

Right now her sister, Natasha, was yelling at all of them.

"It wasn't real!"

"What?"

"I don't care, It wasn't real." Natasha responds

"Don't, don't say that. It was real... it was real to me." Yelena said, I could practically see the knot in her throat.

"You were my mother, the only one I ever had. The closest thing I ever had to one, the best part of my life was fake... and none of you ever told me?" She said tears brimming her eyes.

"And those agents you chemically subjugated around the globe? That was me." She pointed to herself. I watched her as she was on the verge of breaking down. She looked at Natasha beginning to speak to her.

"And you, you got out. Dreykov made sure no one could escape. Are you gonna say anything?" She asked, looking angry as if she wanted to just punch her sister.

Natasha looks down guiltily.

"No." She said finally, her mother going to touch her.

"Don't touch me." She tells her, immediately grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the room with her. She dragged me to a room and just hugged me, crying into my shoulder. I immediately hold her tightly.

"They never cared..." she whispered, crying

"They did... they did care. It is just hard for them to realize it, baby." I tell her, comforting her. I could feel her shift her head, and her tears on my neck and she nuzzled into it.

"You know what though?" I ask her, she stayed silent waiting for what I was about to say next to her.

"I love you, you are the love of my life. And I care about you so much, I'd die if I didn't have you." I could feel her smile into my neck.

"I love you more, lyubov." She tells me.

Suddenly we heard a knock on the bedroom door, I opened it to see Alexei.

"What do you want?" I asked annoyed, Yelena still clung to my side, her face buried in my neck.

"To talk to my daughter..." he said, I smile at him, and he smiles back gratefully. Before I speak again.

"No." And I slammed the door in his face. Yelena giggled into my neck as I brought us to the bed. When we laid down she looked up at me pecking my lips.

"I'm ready for a new life..." she tells me, I smile at her before speaking.

"What do you see in this new life?"

"You, me. Us... married."

"Hmm, I love that idea." I tell her beaming, she smiles big before speaking again.

"One dog... two? Two. And lots of kids." She tells me.

"Where would we live?" I asked her

"New York, or Los Angeles... I've never been to America." She says

"Me neither, dumbass." I play with her, she laughs.

"What about jobs?" I ask

"You always wanted to help people, so you could be a nurse... or a doctor. Surgeon!" She yells, I laugh

"I need a degree for that, and an education to get the degree." I tell her

"Okay, well, we can work with the government. Get everyone else out, and help out in a way we can." She says

"That is a better idea... what about Natasha?" I ask

"What about her? She said I'm not her sister, you heard her yourself at the store." She explains.

"She did... but she doesn't mean it."

"And how do you know that?" Yelena says sitting up getting defensive. I sit up as well, putting my hands on her cheeks to which she immediately calms down.

"I can tell."

"How?"

"She wouldn't be here if she thought otherwise." I explain, Yelena takes that into consideration for a second before slumping down.

"Why does she have to be a bitch?" She asks pouting, I giggle

"That's what sisters are for."

"You know, before Dreykov came for me and my siblings I would purposely fill my sisters shoes with dirt or shaving cream." I smile at the memory

"Gross! Why?" Yelena asks

"It was funny when she would put her foot in and it would all spill out. She never suspected it was me... or maybe she did and she never wanted to get me into trouble." I reminisce now catching on that my sister did in fact know it was me who would ruin her shoes.

"Our parents were mean, and angry. All the time... maybe because they weren't our real parents." I remember

"What was your sisters name?" Yelena asked

"Laticia, we had a brother named Guillermo too."

"Laticia, Guillermo, and y/n... you all have such different names." She giggles messing with the rings on my hand. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"How so?"

"Laticia sounds like a name from... Mexico. Guillermo sounds more Italian." She points out

"And mine?" I question

"Yours sounds more like it belongs with mine." She winks up at me, my cheeks blush pink as I look away.

"You are not funny." I struggle to hold in a giggle

"Do you miss them?" She asks a bit after the silence became a bit thicker.

"All the time. I am positive we were not related as well, but if I could I would look for them." I pointed out

"Where do you believe Guillermo is?" She asked

"I don't know... maybe working for him. I honestly don't know, maybe he was another Alexei... but I'll never know if I don't find them." I point out, Yelena nods as she drifts off to sleep.

"I love you" I tell her, she snuggles into me before speaking

"Love you so much more." She said her voice muffled and mumbling as she drifted off into a dream land.

Sweetest of dreams, my love.
