189. I Have Been A Little Cripple All Along

Qiao Nian felt flustered when she heard his voice, and she lost her concentration.

She pouted as she looked away from the CT scan. She sighed and said angrily, ''It's quite hard.''

The doctor felt that she was joking and interrupted rudely, ''Of course it's hard. Else we would've started the operation already. Do you not have any input after looking at it for so long?"

Ye Qichen hadn't lost consciousness from the fall. He was in so much pain that his face turned pale. A normal kid would've been in tears already.

However, he refused to cry. He bit on his lips so hard that it was bleeding. When he saw that the doctor was being rude to his sister, he tried to stand up to defend her.

''Get out! I don't want you to be my doctor! I don't like you, get out! Uncle, ask him to leave! Ask all of them to leave!"

He suddenly exclaimed and refused to cooperate. The nurses next to him were shocked and tried to calm him down.

''Chen Chen, don't move about and lay back down.''

''That's right, Chen Chen. Don't get up. You'll worsen the injury.''

''Get out, all of you, get out!''

A kid would be a kid. No matter how mature he may be, he was still a five-year-old.

The medical personnel felt pity for him.

Even the doctor was affected.

Everyone had their own problems to deal with. Even if this kid was born in a rich family and achieved success already, it didn't matter. Fame and fortune didn't make you healthy.
