Chapter 30 - Escape for Real

I tried to forget about what happened last night to just enjoy the day with my brothers.

Rock: "So then Liang let's his hair down, right, and his back is turned to Trois and Honey so they think he's a chick and they ask him what colour his panties are."

Nico and I giggled.

Uno: "Seriously? Damn are those two sleezy."

Nico: "Yeah, you're definitely one to talk, Uno."

Rock: "Something wrong, Jyugo? You haven't said a single word, man."

Nico: "Are you feeling kinda down still?"

Jyugo: "No, uh... I couldn't be better."

Uno noticed me frown.

Uno: "You okay, Jinx?"

Jinx: "Uh... yeah, course I am."

I gave him a forced smile. Later that night, Jyugo tried to sneak out without any of us noticing but we sat up and stared at him.

Uno: "Taking another stroll?"

We stood up.

Rock: "Wasn't very nice of you not to invite us."

Nico: "It's been a long time since the four of us broke out together."

Jinx: "We haven't had a lot of chances lately."

He stared at us for a minute before smiling.

Jyugo: "Then let's do it."

When we got to the final door...

Rock: "You're really on your game today, Jyugo."

Nico: "You unlocked all of those doors so quickly."

Uno: "But he also ran headfirst into every last trap. Lock picking truly is your only skill."

He opened the door.

Nico: "But this is still as far as we can get."

Rock: "Honestly, we might as well head back."

Uno: "Cause building 13's final trap is its strongest."

Hajime was waiting for us.

Jinx: "I don't want you to get pummelled again."

He walked closer.

Hajime: "I warned you not to do this again. I told you it'd be different, right?!"

Jinx: "Huh, he did?"

Jyugo: "He really did."

Jinx, Uno, Nico & Rock: "Hey!"

Hajime: "Do you understand words?! Or are you secretly an ape that somebody shaved?!"

Nico: "Wow, he's really really mad this time."

Jyugo walked forward, put his hand on the wall and bars came down, locking the rest of us in.

Rock: "What the hell was that?!"

Uno: "What's the deal, Jyugo?!"

Jinx: "Open it back up!"

Jyugo: "I'll see you..."
