A couple of days later, Evangeline was surprised when she got a letter from Narcissa in which she wrote that Draco wanted to meet her. Evangeline was sitting at a table in a cafe in Muggle London, waiting for her cousin and her son. She was delighted to see her son after all these years.

'What can I get you, miss?' a waiter took Eva's order.

'I'll have a double espresso with sugar and vanilla,' she told the waiter politely.

'Coming right up,' the waiter said then he left.

'You can't live without your coffee, can't you?' Narcissa asked from behind Evangeline.

Eva stood up and hugged her cousin. 'Blame your cousin for that one,' Eva joked.

As the two women pulled away from their hug, Eva looked at Draco. There he was, all grown up. He was a total replica of her and Regulus, the perfect combination between the two of them.

'Hey,' Evangeline said.

'Hi,' Draco said shyly. 'C-Could I-... Could I hug you?' Draco asked, and Eva nodded, pulling her son into her arms.

The mother-son pair both burst into tears. Eva held her son close, afraid to let him go.

'Hi, mum,' Draco whispered, which made Eva cry even more.

The two women and the boy sat at the table and started discussing. Narcissa looked between the mother and son, smiling. She was happy that the two were reunited.

'Are you staying here for long?' Draco asked his mother.

'I'm not sure yet,' Evangeline admitted. 'It depends on my work and how long I'm needed here,' Eva added.

'But have you ever considered moving back here?' Draco asked.

Evangeline did not want to let her son down. She had to be careful with what she said.

'Well, there's a lot of things keeping me here, but I don't know if I'll find a job here,' Eva said.

'Please, stay,' Draco asked his mother. 'I need you here. I want you here.'

Draco's words made Evangeline's heart skip a beat. She wanted to stay, too. Now that she had her son back, she did not want to let him go.

'I'll talk to my bosses in New York and see if they could find me a job here,' Eva told her son.

'Narcissa, is it okay if I were to move in with my mother?' Draco asked his godmother. 'I don't want to be in the same house as Lucius. Could I, please?'

'If that's okay with your mother...' Narcissa said.

'It's more than all right with me,' Eva said. 'But are you sure?' she asked her son.

'Yes, I'm sure,' Draco assured his mother.

'I could take him home with me even today if that's all right with you,' Eva told Narcissa.

'Of course! You have been waiting fourteen years to see your son. Go and do what this stupid war never allowed you to, go be a mother,' Narcissa told her cousin. 'I'll have one of the house-elves send his things to Grimmauld Place.'

The mother and son took the muggle bus to Grimmauld Place. The whole concept of being half a muggle shocked Draco but also intrigued him at the same time. When they got to Grimmauld Place, Draco was shocked by how his family's home was concealed. The two Blacks walked in and were welcomed by Kreacher.

'Oh, mistress Eva and young master Draco!' Kreacher said happily. 'Welcome back home, young master!'

'Hello, Kreacher!' Eva said politely. 'Where's everyone?' she asked the house-elf.

'There's a meeting in the kitchen, and those children are upstairs,' Kreacher informed Evangeline.

'Alright, I'll take Draco with me to the meeting,' Eva said, and the two walked to the kitchen.

The two walked into the meeting, and everyone was shocked when they saw Draco walking in with his mother.

'Hello everyone,' Eva greeted everyone.

'Hello, sis,' Sirius greeted his sister-in-law.

'Hello, Eva,' Remus greeted the Black woman.

Eva walked to her seat next to Sirius and sat down, gesturing to Draco to sit on the empty chair next to her.

'I hope that you don't mind that I brought Draco here with me,' Evangeline told the Order.

'It is no problem,' Dumbledore assured the blonde woman.

'Oh, thank you for giving Ginny and Hermione some of your old clothes. They were so happy,' Mrs Weasley told Evangeline.

'Of course! They're good clothes still, and I'm not going to be wearing them any time soon.'

The meeting started, discussing Voldemort's rising army. Some had doubts about Draco, but looking at him they saw that he was happy to be part of their cause.

'And I believe that Draco's loyalty is pledged to us,' Dumbledore said.

'Draco's loyalty is pledged to me, his uncle, and his cousins. However, doubts about the loyalty of my son will have to cross me, and I might not have a wand but, trust me, I can be as lethal,' Evangeline said defensively.

McGonagall looked at Draco and saw that he was finally happy. And Draco was happy indeed. He finally felt like he belonged. All those years when he felt like the odd duck paid off.

After the meeting, Sirius told his nephew that he can take his bedroom. 'You can have it. That place holds too many bad memories for me,' Sirius told his nephew.

'But... I could never. I'm sure there's a bedroom I could share with one of the boys,' Draco said.

'Nonsense! This is your home as much as it is mine and your mother's,' Sirius told the teenage boy. 'Now, there are some clothes in there if you want something more comfortable or perhaps you could go with your mother to her room and take some of your father's clothes,' Sirius added.

'Thanks, Uncle Sirius! It means a lot to me,' Draco told his uncle with a smile.

'Of course, you're Reggie's son and my nephew.'
