Chapter 2

As I'm walking, I realize that I left the campus a long time ago and now I'm roaming the streets of Brooklyn Heights, one of the dangerous towns of New York. I look at my watch and realize that the time is 7:30 am, and my lecture starts in 30 minutes, so I start running back to school as fast as I could. As I was running I bumped into someone, and they caught me before I could fall to the ground. "Woah slow down beautiful", a deep voice said, I looked up to see the Mafia King himself Him-Chan or as everyone calls him Kane, "umm yeah sorry bout that, but I need to go I'm going to be late for class", I say in a bit annoyed voice because I was getting late for class.

"Class can wait", Kane said, and at that moment I lost it, "look fuck off ok, I said I was sorry for bumping into you, so please let go of me", I said not giving a shit about who he was or he's reputation. Funny right, but I was the type to not give a shit about many things, even death itself. I lost everyone I loved and my life was shit, so death was honestly my only hope out of my shitty life. I would say death was a friend, as the saying goes "if you can't beat them join them". Everyone is gonna die eventually so I see no point in fearing death. 

I managed to get out of Kane's grip, and I was back to running. I arrived at school and I sighed in relief, "thank god, I made it on time". I headed to class, took my seat and the lecture began. 

Him-Chan Pov

As I was walking to the car with my right hand man Jin and he's brother Jay, someone dumped into me from the back. My morning was already horrible and I was pissed of, since I had to go take care of some rookie's who were causing trouble for me and my gang. I looked back to see who was the idiot that bumped into me, but instead I see a melanin goddess. Her beautiful chocolate eyes, that looked innocent but also as if she was in pain, her glowing chocolate skin which I wanted to lick and kiss so badly. 

God she was beautiful, I looked at her and she apologized, "umm yeah sorry bout that, but I need to go I'm going to be late for class", she says, with her amazing voice. I wanted her to stay with me, I couldn't take my eyes off her. I've been with many women before but this one, there's something special about her. "Class can wait" I said, and I think I pissed her off because she snapped back at me, "look fuck off ok, I said I was sorry for bumping into you, so please let go of me". How daring, nobody has ever spoken to me that way and got away with it alive. 

I let go of her arm and she starts running as fast as she could, I don't know if she was scared or really serious about her classes. 

"Boss you just going to let her speak to you like that and not do shit about it?", Jin says as he punches my shoulder.

"I say we have a little fun with her before we blow her head of", says Jay 

I've always let Jin and Jay talk to me however they want because I saw them as brothers. I grew up with them after my father took them in when their parents died, they are the only people I trust. I pulled Jay by the hem of he's shirt and punched him right in the face, and he fell to the ground. I was pissed at the way he spoke about my melanin goddess, how dare he.

 "What the fuck Kane, what was that for", Jay asked as he was getting up from the ground.

"Yeah man what the fuck", he's brother Jin asks.

"Don't ever disrespect her in front of me ever again ihaehaessda", I said to him pissed of for disrespecting my black beauty.

"Why do you care?" Jay asked 

"I care because I want her and she will be my Queen." I replied.

"Queen!!" they both say at the same time, shocked.

"Yes, after all, a powerful King needs a powerful beautiful Queen by he's side." I replied, proud of what I had just said.  

They both looked at me in shock, wondering if I was high for proudly calling that woman my queen. We walked to the car and drove off to my office. The car ride was silent for a minute until Jin spoke, "naega balo I mal-eul hajamyeon, im-uiui sonyeoga dangsingwa budijchyeossgo ije geunyeoneun gabjagi dangsin-ui yeowang-i doeeossseubnida".

Translation: So let me get this straight, a random girl bumps into you and now she's suddenly your queen.

"Naneun ajigdo chung-gyeog-eul badgo issda" Jay says 

Translation: I'm still in shock.

"Cheosjjea, geunyeoneun im-uiui sonyeoga animyeo duljjea, ye, geunyeoneun nae, yeowang-i  doel geos-ibnida.  

Translation: Firstly she's not a random girl, and secondly, yes she will be my queen.

Sooner or later she will be mine, no matter what I'll make sure of it.
