The Truth!

Susan's POV

While we were finishing our hot chocolate i could feel Derek keep glancing at me but it didn't make me scared it made me feel all hot. i turn to look at him and he's smiling which causes me to smile and laugh. Why am i acting like this, i've never acted like this. I went back to finshing my drink and an idea popped in my head. I'm in the mood to watch a movie. Am i allowed to watch a film?? " I turn towards Derek "Derek could we maybe.. umm... watch a movie" he's still smiling so i don't think he's mad. "Of cource, what would you like to watch" i was shcoked at his response. I was exsepcting him to say no. "I'll watch anything, apart from horror. I don't like horror" as i was waiting for a reply his was turned to a frown, oh no i blew it. " no no it's okay we can watch a horror. i don't mind" he looked up towards me again.

Derek POV

I was admiring Susan, she's so georgous. Everytime i look at her she makes me smile. She turns towards me and notices i'm looking at her too and she blushes and turns away. She drinsk the rest of her hot chocolate and her face shows she's thinking about something. Wonder what she's thinking about. I finish the rest of my drink and i hear Susan start to speak. "Derek could we maybe.. umm... watch a movie" Awh she's so adorable. "Of cource, what would you like to watch" her face shows shock. Did she really think i'd say no to spending more time with her. "I'll watch anything, apart from horror. I don't like horror" That's odd beacuse when i saw her and Max cuddling on sofa they were watching a horror that night. Maybe she only likes watching them with Max. " no no it's okay we can watch a horror. i don't mind" think she can see my facial exspresstion change. I looked up to her worried face. "Susan how come you'll watch horror's with Max but not me" i felt upset, did she really prefer to watch them with him. "I, I never got to choose with M- Max" i could see tears starting to fall. I'm such an idiot cause my brother forced her to watch films she don't even like. "Susan i'm so sorry, we can watch anything you want to watch. Not including horrors" she wipes her tears and smiles. "thank you Derek, we'll choose together, i wouldn't want you to watch a film you didn't like either" I smile she's so thoughtful. "First i want to show you the proof i have so you can see i didn't get with my ex on purpose or to hurt you" she knods her head and i stand up to go get Max's phone. 

Once i have Max's phone i sit back on the Ireland and Susan and her mother come behind me to read them. I haven't even read them all to be honest. I hope it doesn't upset Susan too much. I open up his phone and go straight to the messages.

After reading through the messages i look over at susan and she had a face full of diappoitment and sadness. "I'm sorry Susan, i know you thought that night he really cared about you" she wiped her face and gave me a small smile "Thank you for showing me Derek, it's not your fault Max was the way he was" after she spoke she hugged me from behind. Her scent was all  i could smell and i felt my heart beating quicker. I want her lips on mine, i want to presss her agisnt the kitchen wall and kiss her passionately until she moans my name. Oh god i need to stop these thoughts before i get hard and am stuck in the kitchen all by myself beacuse she's not ready for that yet. Susan pulled away from the hug, smiling. I wish she'd always smile she got a perfect smile. "Susan should we go choose this film before it gets too late" she smiles and i could see in her eyes she's excited. We walk out the kitchen and susan's mum follows behind us both. 

We enter the living room and i show Susan to my DVD collection. "i also have netflix, amazon prime and disney plus incase you can't find one in there". she smiles up and me and gets down on her knees to have a better look at my DVD's. I turn around to see Susan's mum nearlly falling alseep on the sofa. I walk over and crouch in front of her "Sarah why don't you go to your room and sleep, you do need to rest you was shot today" she looks past me at susan and i know she's deciding weither to leave me alone with her. She looks back towards me and nods. "Susan you choose a film, I'm going to take your mum to her room" she looks over this way. She stands and comes towards us. She wraps her hands around her mum and hug her. "night mum, hope you have a good night rest " her mum gives her her one sqeeze and lets her go. " thank you sweetheart, night love you lots" When Susan moves back over to the DVD's i lead the way to her new room. Walking up the staires and down the corridors we come across her room. Before we enter i point towards two other doors " the room next to yours is Susan's room and that one across the hall is my room, you are welcome to see Susan when ever you want to. If you need anything im right there too" She looks at both the doors and then at  me "Thank you Derek, For helping us get out. I always saw through the fake wall you put up when Max was around. You've saved me and my daughter may times from the abuse your brother gave us. So thank you again". She pulled me into a hug complelty suprising me. I hug her back "your very welcome. I do truly care about your daughter and i hope she see's that i do". we break off the hug and i open the door to her room. "Derek she will need time but i'm sure she will. now your away from Max you can be yourself" I smile at her, i'm so glad she she's i'm not like my brother. "Thank you, i will bring the bags in, in the morning for you. Hope you sleep well Sarah" She gives me a warm smile. i head back towards the door and close it on my way out. Heading back downstires to see Susan looking at the DVD's frustrated. She's the cutest.
