A/N:
I'm sorry for not updating this story lately, tbh I got so into my stories that I forgot my cousins wedding...and that I was a part of it😂but now that shes happily married as of yesterday, I am now free until the next big event, HALLOWEEN🎃⚰🦇☠🕷💀🍁🕸.

So with that being said, onto the story.

I went through the rest of the night in a daze. Who could possibly know what I have done? It could be anyone, anywhere.

I kept my eye on everyone I could and watched the people close to me,  keeping an eye on those either being too cold or too friendly. I watched Y/N through my door, watching how she laughed and carried on with the other officers.

Wasn't she worried about me? Did she even know? And if she did, did she even care?

"Hey," she said, popping into my doorway with a empathetic smile

"I heard about what happened, but I wanted to make sure no one could interrupt while we talked," she sat on my desk

"What even happened Nick," she asked softly

"No clue, apparently someone thinks I did something," I lied

She nodded thoughtfully and grabbed my hand, her eyes peering into mine like she could see my soul. Like she knew I did something.

"You know you can tell me anything, anything at all and I won't judge you or leave you. I love you and no matter what I'm on your side. Now, do you know why anyone would do that," she questioned me again

"No," I glared at her, gritting my teeth

She licked her lips and dropped my hand like it burned her. Her head turned away and she got off my desk, heading towards the door.

"I'm here when you're ready to talk or tell me the truth,"

She slammed the door.

The early morning sun greeted us through the windshield of the car as I drove us home. The air was silent and tense, as were my shoulders. It has to be her. I mean why would she push for something if she didn't already know. She knows what I've been doing in the tunnels and she knows what I did to her childhood friends and what I've done to her home.

I watched as she walked to the front door, unlocking it and slamming it closed behind her. I took a deep breath and grabbed my cuffs from jacket pocket I had snuck them in when she wasn't looking. I loved her but I would defend myself.

I kept my hands in my pockets as I walked into the kitchen, still silence echoed between us as I watched her.

"You know, don't you," I questioned her

"Know what," she lied

I rolled my eyes and walked to her, my eyes going wide when she took a step back. I kept walking forward until she was near the patio french doors and quickly handcuffed her to the handle. She fought against them, pulling and prying.

"What the fuck Nick," she snapped at me

"What do you know," I asked firmly

"Let me go," she demanded

I took a deep breath and stepped closer, my chest to her, pinning her body to the curtain covering the window. It pulled slightly with the force and her eyes went wide.

"What do you know," I questioned her again slowly

"I know nothing," she stated

I glared into her eyes, watching as tears started to form and slid down her cheeks. I brushed them away, cupping her cheek in my hand before grabbing her by the chin and slamming her head off the door frame.

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW,"

"NOTHING," she screamed back sobbing

I sighed, knowing I was getting nowhere with her and quickly knocked her out.

As much as I loved her and that baby inside her, I couldn't let her expose me. I had done too much to be where I am and she wouldn't take that from me.

I wouldn't let her.

I had cuffed her to the bed, watching her as she woke up and looked around confused. When she spotted me, she jumped and tried to slid away, crying when she realized that she couldn't.

"You're not going anywhere until you tell me what you know," I walked over and sat beside her

"I already told you that I know nothing, why do you keep insisting that I do," she sniffled

"Because you said that I could tell you anything and that you wouldn't leave or judge and all that bullshit," I rolled my eyes

"I was trying to be good to you, you jackass," she snapped at me

"What do you know," I looked at her eyes

"This shit again, seriously," she scuffed

"Like I said, you're not going anywhere, might as well speak," I shrugged

"I do know this, when I get out of these cuffs, I'm gonna punch you straight in the dick," she said seriously

I cracked a smile at that because I knew she was telling the truth.

"I do know that whatever you did, is huge, but like I said, I won't judge. I don't know anything and if you don't wanna tell me that's fine, I won't push. I was simply telling you, that way, if you wanted to talk that you knew you could come to me and I wouldn't say a word. That's all," she sighed defeated

I watched as her shoulders sank, the fight leaving her body and how heavy her eyes were. I could finally see that she was telling me the truth. And that I had probably just fucked up majorly. Grabbing the key from my pants, I quickly undid the cuffs and watched her rubb her wrist.

She sighed softly before rising to her knees, pulling her sleeves to her forearms and taking a deep breath.

She cocked back and punched me in the jaw, sending me flying off the bed and onto the floor. I groaned and flinched back when she came around the bed, standing in front of me. She put one of her feet on my groin and pushed down. It felt like my balls went into my stomach.

"I told you I was gonna hurt you,"

"You said you were gonna punch my dick," I grunted out in pain

"Meh," she shrugged

With a determined look, she brought her foot straight up, releasing my dick. And with a fast kick, she crunched my nose with the heel of her foot and sent my head flying back against the nightstand, knocking me out.

Guess I shouldn't have underestimated her.
