"Hey, what are you doing!?"

"Oh, uh, um I-"

Adrien was cut off by the hysterical laughter of Chole and Sabrina. I know their supposed to be bullies in the show, but I don't think that this is funny. I mean, Chole just got her only friend her in trouble, but then again, I don't think she really cares how Marinette feels about her or Adrien.

"Okay, I get it. Good job you three, very funny," said Marinette. Notice the sarcasm?

"N-no!  I swear, it's not what it looks like! I was just trying to get the gum off!" defended Adrien.

"Oh really?" I said cutting in. "Continue then, we'll patiently wait for you to finish the job then."

Thought I wasn't really mad at Adrien, since I know that this was actually Chole's doing, I still had to pretend that I don't know because the Yin-which is the character I was reincarnated in-in Miraculous Ladybug wasn't here when it happened.

Alya made her way to her seat as Marinette and I waited for Adrien to remove the gum from our bench.

"I know I've seen him somewhere before..."

"Well he's Gabriel Agreste's son, so you probably have seen him on a billboard or something."

"That's it! He's the son of my favorite designer!"

"Oh, you like fashion?" I asked Marinette, pretending to be surprised.

"Yeah, I want to be a famous designer one day!"

A few minutes had past and Adrien still hadn't been able to remove the gum yet.

"Well, if it really wasn't you, then I think that you will have no problem telling us who actually did it, will you? Maybe they'll help you clean this." I challenged Adrien with a raised eyebrow.

I know I said that I would patiently wait, but that was before I realized how hard it is to remove gum form a seat. And I don't have a chart about it, but if my respect for school janitors were stocks, everyone that had invested would be able to live in five star hotels for the rest of their life's.

"Uh..." He looked uncertainly at Chole.

"Can't name anyone? Then get your friends to help you. After all, class is about to start."

"As if I would even think to help you!"

"Keep your ugly nose out of our business Chole. Unless your the one who did it?" I said smirking at her.

"Of course not! I would never touch that with my precious hands! Sabrina is the one who did it," she replied, smugly. As if she found a loop-hole in the situation, which she didn't.

I looked back at the poor boy and decided to let the gum be. I asked Marinette for some tissue paper and put them on top of the gum, covering it's nastiness.

"I'm really sorry..." apologized Adrien. I looked at him in confusion, he didn't even do anything wrong!

Then, I overheard Nino questioning Adrien, "Why didn't you tell the dudettes that it was Chole's idea?"

"I've known Chole since I was a little kid, I know she's not perfect but I can't just throw her under the bus! She's like my only friend."

At this point, I'm pretty sure I've never felt as bad as I feel for Adrien right now. Imagine having Chole as the only friend you have in your entire life!

"I'm surprised you didn't actually," I told Adrien, "Considering the fact that Chole was your only friend. You'd think that her personality would rub off you."

"Is it? And I apologize on Chole's behalf, she usually isn't that mean, she's usually nicer to her friends."

"If that's the case then I'm Yin, an I think that it's time that you make some new friends!" I grinned at Adrien.

"And I'm Nino."

"I'm Marinette."

"I'm Adrien, nice to meet you all."

********

"Adrien Agreste?" Called Ms. Bustier.

"Your supposed to say present," whispered Nino.

"Oh, PRESENT!" Shouted Adrien, standing up.

The class broke out in a fit of laughter.

"You basically stapled a paper with the words: I've been homeschooled all my life on your forehead," I laughed.

"Oh...Whoops?"

The rest of the day went by without a hitch, well except when it started to rain at the end of the school day. I actually like it when it rains, but not when I'm outside and don't have an umbrella. I prefer the rain when I go to sleep or when my family and I are watching a movie in the living room.

I was standing at the doorway of our school waiting for Alya and Marinette. Marinette was helping Alya with some problems.

"Uh, hi."

I turned to see Adrien waving awkwardly at me.

I smiled warmly at him, "Hey."

"Um, I just want to apologize once again for the chewing gum incident..."

"Adrien! How many times do I have o tell you? It's not your fault. Learn to stick up for yourself once in a while. And don't let anyone walk all over you."

"O-oh, okay..." He gave me a nervous smile. "W-would you nine-I mean like a-my umbrella? I mean it's draining so-Raining! Raining, and my ride is right there." He pointed towards a black limo.

"Sure, that really kind of you Adrien. The girls and I are going to need it."

"Yeah, here-"

Adrien accidentally pressed a button on the umbrella when he was passing it to me and it closed down on him. I burst out laughing at the scene and, a little while later, Adrien started laughing too.

"Thanks again for the umbrella," I said, once I managed to calm down

"My closure-I mean my pleasure! Bye!"

I watched as Adrien hurried into his car and carelessly bump his head on the car roof. That's got to hurt.

"Jeez, that was so weird, why was he suddenly stuttering like that?"

"I think I might have an idea," Alya's voice came from behind. I saw her and Marinette smirking at me, both of them looking as smug as a peacock who was getting compliments.

"What?" I asked.

"Girl it's SOOOO obvious! He has a crush on you!"

"He has a what on me?"

********
