Hermione bit her thumbnail, this was the first time she and Draco would be without the boys for a longer period than one hour
She didn't know what to say or what to do
"Malfoy—"
"Go on a date with me" Draco whispered and went up to her
"Really?" She asked hopefully
"Please Granger, let me do this right and take you out on a proper date" Draco pleaded
Hermione's smile got bigger
"If we were doing this right then you would take me out on three dates" she stated, recalling him telling her about some old pureblood courting tradition
"I'll compromise with two official dates, but please let me take you out on a date"
Hermione smiled and nodded softly
He kissed her and Hermione melted into his warmth
"Too—" kiss "—long—" kiss "—without—" kiss "—you" he whispered softly
Hermione cupped his cheek
"I'm home now" she whispered
His smile got softer and Hermione felt those three words at the tip of her tongue, bursting to break free but knowing that it was too soon to say them
"Go get dressed and Floo back right here, I'm taking you out tonight" Draco instructed
Hermione kissed him again before pulling away and running to the Floo, she called out Grimmauld's Place and stepped through the flames before emerging in the greeting room
"Ginny!" She called out
Ginny came running down and Hermione noticed she was wearing her quidditch robes
"Who do we need to bury?" Ginny asked seriously
"W-What?" Hermione laughed
"You come in here, all glassy-eyed and—" Ginny stopped and narrowed her eyes "oh we don't need to kill someone...we need to marry someone"
"Ginny!"
Ginny crackled and clapped her hands
"So...how was it?" Ginny smirked
"I'm not discussing my sex life with you"
Ginny wiggled her eyebrows
"I have a date" Hermione sighed
Ginny clapped her hands like a child who just got their new broom
"One second!"
She ran to the Floo and stuck her head in it
"Ginny—"
A few moments later the Floo roared to life and two witches emerged
"Parkinson?" Hermione asked confused
"You and I need to have a talk Granger" Pansy ordered
Hermione looked at Ginny
"Hi Hermione" Luna smiled
"Hi Luna" Hermione whispered
Luna hugged her tightly
"Welcome home"
Hermione sniffed
"Enough of that, Hermione has a date, let's go!" Pansy ordered and led all the witches through the floo
