Ch - 44. A step further

3 weeks later.

I fell on my knees, panting and sweating. "That was so amazing!"

I heard a familiar voice. I turned to my right and saw Xuimin. I smiled at him.

"She is really at my level now" Sehun said while offering me a hand. I took it and got up.

"That's good. Now get fresh and come to the conference room in 20 minutes. We have a meeting." He told us and walked away.

"What is it this time?" Sehun whispered while walking out.

I also decided to clean up. I wore my extra clothes because my clothes were stinking badly. Once I was done, I went to the conference room. I opened the door and saw Key sitting on his chair. He must've arrived just now.

"Sorry for being late boss" I bowed at him. "Sit down" he said as I did.

I sat down and focused on him.

"So we now have to start our mission. All this time, we got as much as information we could, thanks to Y/n." Key pointed at me.

I smiled at him a bit.

"Now, all I want Y/n, you, to do is call him out to meet and see if he gets calls which makes him leave you or leave you stood up." Key started explaining me.

I remembered the times when he left after getting a call.

"Then you have to follow him till his destination and act like you are really shocked. I know he won't care much since you are friends but it will still affect him and maybe, he would start sharing a bit of his work" he told me.

Friend? Oh Bum you have no idea what we are. I looked at Suho, who was in front of me, looking at me with... look? I don't know how to describe it.

"Yes boss. I will follow this out" I said as he nodded.

Key was just talking about many things which were not getting in my head. All I could think of was Jimin. Now that our mission had really started, would our relation come to learn truth soon? Would our bond be destroyed just like this? With betray from someone who had been betrayed?

After the meeting, boss told us to go home or do our practice. I decided to go home. Tomorrow could be my big day. I need to rest for sure. I directly went home and freshen up. I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Should I text him? Maybe I should.

Otherwise how would he come on that date? I got up and leaned to the night stand. I took my phone and sat back. I opened the inbox and opened Jimin's chat. Just do it already!

I sent the message and waited for his reply. Maybe he could be busy rig- just then my phone got a notification.
