'..how do i look?'

phoenix asked as he looked into the mirror,  the past seven years of recovery from the re-trial of AL-9 had been a rollercoaster, he didn't expect ever to have a husband, who he was happily married with for nearly a year now, and a beautiful daughter, but he did a whole investigation all by himself to expose Christoph for his crimes and to avenge his fill in Jousha Poppet after he was falsely accused of forgery, needless to say, it was a wild seven years, but it was possibly the best seven years of his life 

he had decided to get a whole knew look, first, he had gotten tattoos, on both his arms and on his upper and middle back, the tattoo's on his arms were  vines and leaves that wrapped around all over, with dark blue and purple roses and tulips that grew from the vines, and the tattoo on his back was a skull with a purple rose on the right top if it and a blue tulip on the bottom left of the jaw of the skull, and the right jaw of the skull was the magatama

he had gotten tattoo's as a way to not only cover up his scars but to have his deceased loved ones with him at all times, he wanted his tattoos to have a special meaning to them, it was the best decision he had ever made, he never felt so confidant in his own body before until now, he could wear short sleeves without feeling disgusted or insecure about himself 

along with the new tattoos, he had gotten a new attire, a long-tailed dark blue suit jacket that reached down to his ankles, black dress shoes, black pants, a white dress shirt with a nice red tie, black fingerless gloves and to top off his whole outfit, and his beautiful vintage heart locket necklace and bracelet that he never took off

the new attire was actually a gift from his aunt shelly, after hearing bout his return to court, she made a whole new suit for him, and even made miles one as well

finally his hair, he still kept the spikes, but much looser, and left out all his bangs, his left bangs loosened down completely, his right side as well, which was shorter than other, and a little single piece of hair sticking out in the middle

'..you look incredible'

miles said, blushing a tint of red at the new look, phoenix blushed a tint of red at the compliment as he sheepishly played with his locket

'..y-you think?'

'yes, ..it looks wonderful on you, but it's missing something'

'it is?'

he nodded and showed him the box, his attorney badge, miles took the badge out and pinned it on his suit for him, then kissed his red flustered cheek

'..their, ..now you're ready for court'
