Part 23

As we made it to the silver pack house I jumped out and stormed to the door.

"Ashley! Wait!" I banged on the door. I heard shuffling and the door opened. A middle aged man opened the door. He was frowning.

"Yes?" He said raising an eyebrow. I put my hands on my hips.

"I would love to talk to your alpha." The guy nodded and motioned us to follow him. We glanced at each other and went after him. He led us down a hallway and stopped in front of a door.

"Here you are." He turned and left. I knocked on the door. When I glanced back at Jacob I saw him muttering and wiping his hands down his jeans. A bead of sweat slid down his face. I rolled my eyes.

The door opened and I turned to face the guy. He was so young! No more than 18 years of age!

"Hello how may I help you?" The alpha said his voice rang of power.

"I need serious talking to do." I huffed and tilted my chin up to meet his gaze. He chuckled and raised an eyebrow after Zane.

"Alpha Zane do not tell me this is your mate. She's fiesty not to mention cute too." Zane growled a bit and pulled me to him. Wrapping his arms around my torso. I wiggled out and stabbed a finger at the alphas chest.

"Listen here pup, there is serious mating problems happening. We need to resolve this." The alphas eyes turned a shade darker at the word pup.

He stepped aside and motioned us in. He walked behind his desk and sat down. He told us to sit. There were only two other available chairs. So I decided to hop on Zane's lap.

"Listen Alpha we mean no harm but what you are putting my friend Jacob to is not right. He deserves to be with his mate." I said sincerely. The alpha looked at me strangely.

"What are you talking about?"

"His mate." I pointed to Jacob. "Supposidly his mate is sister of your beta." The alpha scrunched up his nose. His eyes glazed over. He was probably mindlinking his beta. A few minutes later a boy with sand colored hair walked in.

"What's up br-..." His sentence trailed off as he saw us. His eyes drifted to Jacob's and He let out a growl. "you dumb-" he started off but I cut him off.

"You will not talk to him in that way! If I retained your mate from you you'll be in the same position as him! Now you better grow some balls and let him have his mate for all means. The moon goddess's choice is not to be fooled around with. Lord man grow up and bring your sister here." Zane and Jacob both gaped at me. "What?" I said sweetly and shrugged my shoulders.

"Damn Zane you got a good one." The alpha said chuckling.

"Shutup Chris." Zane shot back but also smirked.

I turned back to the beta and his eyes were glazed over. I wanted to whoop in delight. From the corner of my vision I saw Jacob stiffened and he tilted his head up. Sniffing at the air. I saw his eyes turn dark.

I smiled as I recognized that look. His mates around. I heard the door open and close I turned to see a girl. She had long jet black hair that reached past her waist. She had beautiful green eyes and she had a strapless dress.

"bubba what's... " She trailed off as she saw Jacob. It felt awkward since they both were eyeing each other and we stood there looking away.

Jacob clambered up from his seat and took a step towards her. The beta growled and stood in front of the girl. Her face turned into sorrow. She wanted to be in Jacob's arms. I knew that for sure.

I growled and jumped off Zane's lap I stormed to the beta and grabbed him by the ear. He started to growl when I glared at him.

He knew he can't overpower a luna. I pushed him beside his alpha and turned back to Zane. I climbed back on his lap and he looked up at me amused. I stuck out my tongue and focused back to Jacob and his mate.

He finally wrapped his arms around her and she hugged him back. They peeled off of each other and Jacob leaned down and kissed her. I heard him mumble mine over and over again.

I smiled in content and turned to the alpha. He raised an eyebrow and nodded. Zanes arms went around my waist and pulled me close.

"Well, Luna, seems like you take care of your pack quiet well."

"Thank you." I smiled and nodded. "Now to discuss how we work this out. Either he stays here or she comes with us. Although, he is an important pack member. Head captain of our pack warriors."

The alpha nodded. "Well it is highly up to them. I will accept him or let her leave if she wants." he said with a smile. I liked this guy.

"Alpha but she's my sister." The beta growled out.

"oh boohoo my family banned me from my pack. Without a second glance at me. Or bid me farewell. It's not like you won't be able to see her. You can come anytime you wish. It's not like we're gonna prevent you from seeing her." I said looking at Zane.

Zane smiled. "Anything that my mate wants." He said kissing my nose. I knew he was doing that on purpose. I smelled jealousy on him. Inside I was smirking. He does truly care about me.

"We shall ask them no?" The alpha said. I haven't noticed that Jacob and his mate were back in the seat.

Jacob smiled down at his new mate. I smiled too. "Anything you want." He said to his mate. She bit her lip and looked from Jacob to her brother.

"Will he be allowed visits?" She asked slowly. I nodded.

"Why of course he will." She beamed at me.
"It's settled I'll go with y'all." She laughed and hugged Jacob then jumped up and hugged her brother.

The beta looked unsure but when he saw happiness in his little sisters eyes he started smiling.

"Then it's settled. Welcome to the red dawn pack." I said standing up and kissing her cheek.

Sorry if the chapter is short. I've been to caught up on my spring break. Hooray!!! I've been sleeeping in and sleeping like a baby. I love this feeling. Lol keep voting and commenting. Toodlesss
