Descriptions are SO important in getting someone to read your book. It must be short, sweet, and to the point. I personally like the "in which" ones, such as:

In which Christine was captivated by the monster.

(I'm currently watching the Phantom of the Opera)

I would read that story in a heartbeat based on that description, especially if it was paired with a good cover. At the very least, I would click on it and give it a chance because it caught my attention.

I also enjoy the song lyrics ones, such as:

"You know that I cant show you me... give you me. I cant show you a ruined part of myself. Once again I put a mask on and go to see you... But I still want you."

(The Truth Untold by BTS if you were wondering, also gives Phantom of the Opera vibes)

There's also ones that feature a quote from your book, if you've gotten that far, such as:

"Think of me. Think of me fondly when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while, please. Promise me you'll try."

(Also from the Phantom of the Opera)
