Standing by the door, Habiba saw both the lawyer's car scurried away from her house's front yard. She let out a long sigh. Her lawyer advised her the same thing of marrying him or else they would have to consult the high court.

Talking of him, Habiba became conscious of him. She quickly turned around and saw him there, sitting on her couch with one leg resting on top of the other one. Rubbing his jaw, looking at the blank without any blink, he seemed to be drowned in deep thoughts.

"The audacity of this man. Sitting in my house as if it's his own," Habiba thought with a bitterly curled face.

"Why aren't you leaving, yet?" Habiba said a bit rudely and she didn't regret that.

His trails of thoughts were paused by her remark. He shifted his gaze on her and halted there for a moment. Coming to her house he didn't notice her properly and as he got the chance then, he roamed his gaze over her body shamelessly. Seeing her squinted on her spot, uncomfortable by his unwavering gaze, the corner of his lips twitched in a sinister smirk.

Loose maroon short kameez, white salwar, and red dupatta. The only jewelry seen on her was the golden bangles shining on her brown skin, profusely. She didn't look any less of a fairy of beauty cascaded down from heaven.

An unknown emotion of desire, protectiveness, and impatience flooded inside him.

"Don't rush for the thing that's going to be mine." He said, raising one of his perfectly arched eyebrows.

Habiba became confused at his saying. There was no humor in his voice and she could sense an odd dangerous aura began to radiate from him. She couldn't ignore her freaking out inside cause of that.

"Excuse me!" She folded her hands on her chest, faking a calm posture but Hamza wasn't oblivious of it.

He wasn't oblivious of her inner turmoils caused by none other than him.

"All of mine is yours and all of yours are mine." He walked to her dragging every word slowly.

Habiba became even more confused and looked up at him who stood in his tall figure, a feet distance from her.

"Isn't it what they say during the marriage!"

"Yeah, they sa...wait, what are you talking about!" Habiba's stopped in between her speech and her eyes widened in terror grasping a hint of the turmoil coming towards her.

Her living dread coming towards her in long strides caused her to stumble behind. To her horror, her back crushed against the wall beside the opened door. Finding no other way, she extended her hands forward, creating a space between them. To her favor, he stopped too just a bit away from her hand.

"Don't come near me." In trembling and scared tone, Habiba pleaded.

"We're getting married." He ignored her previous statement and enlightened her with the new bombshell.
