Karan Monami Drabble- Bathtub

"Aapne sachhi bathtub bheja tha Monami ke liye?" Suman ji asked.

"Haa of course, Monu bathtub ke bina naha nahi pati!" Sid said.

Monami was shocked at how the conversation steered towards her bathtub and bathing habits. Ever since Sid had entered the academy, he had earned everyone's respect in a matter of seconds. Everyone was impressed at how he had managed to annoy Karan on their first day. He became a legend among the other recruits. Even Koel was nice to him.

"Arrey Monu ka ek cabinet toh bath salts, bath bombs aur essential oils se bhara hai. Har shaam ko bathtub mein rose petals daalke, music chalake, rose wine sip karti hai relaxation ke liye."

Monami's eyes widened when she saw Karan behind the group. He had heard everything Sid said and he already had a grudge against her bathtub. Sid had gotten her into trouble yet again. Karan was looking absolutely furious, and Faizi beside him burst out laughing. This got the group's attention and within seconds, they took their own place in the cafeteria. Monami kept staring at Karan in horror.

"Sorry woh..." Monami started.

"Agar bathtub mein relax karne ka itna hi shauk hai toh wapas apne ghar jaake kar sakti hai." Karan said.

"Arrey Karan, tujhe kya pata bathtub ka maza kya hota hai. Candles jalake, wine peete peete music sunna... aahahaha!" Faizi said.

Karan gave a look to Faizi which shut him up. "Tujhe bhi ghar bhej du Faizi? Jaake aaram se bathtub mein lete rehna."

Faizi rolled his eyes and left to get his food.

"Bath tubs promote deep relaxation, improves blood circulation, and elevates muscle pain." Monami said. Karan's look of confusion gave her the confidence to carry on. "Soaking in a bath has many health benefits. Baat #papakipari ki nahi hai. Aajkal gyms mein bhi jacuzzi aur steam bath ki facilities hoti hai because of the health benefits. Aapko bhi try karna chahiye Sir."

Karan was left speechless once again.

Monami felt proud of herself for shutting Khadoos Shergill. She was finally getting good at this. "Training ke baad bathtub mein lete rehna is so amazing. I'm sure, tum aisa karoge toh tumhara saara gussa gayab ho jayega."

"Aise namoono ke saath saara din spend karke, bathtub se koi kaam nahi hoga."

"Namoone?"

"Recruits." Karan rolled his eyes. "Par kya hai na Monami, sirf #papakiprincess hi ghar pe bathtub mein rose wine and rose petals daalke nahati hai."

"Toh ab tumhe mere nahane ke style se bhi problem hai?" Monami sighed. "Waise bhi Sid exaggerate kar raha tha. Woh toh bas kabhi kabhi."

"Sid ko bada pata hai tum kaise nahati ho." Karan couldn't control his tone which betrayed his jealousy.

Monami blushed as she got the implication of what Karan had been saying. She didn't want him to think there was anything going on between her and Sid. "Nahi... woh Sid mera best friend hai... bachpan se. Tum jaisa soch rahe ho waisa kuch nahi hai humare beech."

"Tum justification de rahi ho?" Karan asked.

Monami wondered why she didn't want Karan to think there was anything going on between her and Sid. "Nahi...woh.."

"Raani sahiba baalti aur mug se nahane ki aadat daal lijiye kyuki jab tak aap academy mein hai bathtub ka relaxation aapke naseeb mein nahi hai." Karan said. "Aur apne uss fiancé ko bata dena ki sabke saamne cheekh cheekh ke tumhari bathing habits sabko na bataye warna mujhe usse baat karni paregi. Aur mere baat karne ka tarika usko achha nahi lagega."

Karan left, leaving an extremely flustered and confused Monami behind.
