"𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔..."

Stars,
No more than dust, gases, and magic,
Twinkling so far above.

And ho how I wish I could reach you,
But alas,
I cannot float on clouds.

Though they're made of the softest cotton candy,
This surprises me though.
After all,
Don't we have the magic of star dust in us.

And though I try,
I could never count how many there really are,
As they reside peacefully in the night sky.

For I always get distracted,
By your ethereal beauty.

How you hold the planets in orbit,
the wind gently caressing the land.

And though they say that you appeared out of nowhere,
I refuse to believe it,
For you tell me otherwise.

And I could spend hours looking at you,
Observing the otherworldly glow of the moon.
Proudly showcasing her beauty,
For all the world to see,

And I would steal her away,
If I could.
