21. She's Come Undone

"Damaged?" Kol asked confused, "Damien's face is damaged?".

Aria nodded, "It was part of Qetsiyah's punishment, she ruined both Silas and Damien's faces, so that no one would love them, so no one else has the same fate as Adriana, both Silas and Damien's face is so damaged that no one can recognise them".

"Ria, are you sure you want to do this?" Damon asked.

Aria nodded, "The spell I'm working on to bring Jeremy back, it won't work without Jeremy's body or ghost form, if I drop the veil before Bonnie, Jeremy will come back for a little while, I can use that time to bring him back permanently, and Damien and Adriana can reunite, Damon this will mean that the stupid curse on our bloodlines, of being soulmates but not being able to spend eternity together, that curse will disappear".

"You're hoping" Damon corrected, "You're hoping reuniting Damien and Adriana will remove the curse, you don't know for sure it will".

"No, I don't know for sure Damon, but I can't just still here and wait for something or someone to separate us, I don't have it in me to go through that" Aria said, "I need do something about it, and helping Damien is the only way I can think of, plus now that I've seen Damien's face, now neither him or Silas will be able to take other people's face in front of me, I will see right through them".

"Wait" Kol said, "What does you seeing Damien's real face have to do with Silas?".

"I don't know how it works but according to Damien, seeing his real face has enabled me to see Silas's real face as well" Aria replied, "Plus, Damien is going to help us take Silas down".

"And you trust him?" Damon asked.

Aria nodded, "I trust him" she replied, "And I know you don't, but I need you to trust me, I know what I'm doing Damon".

Damon sighed, "I trust you Ria, I've always had".

"Let's hope Damien doesn't break you trust" Kol said, "Because right now, we kind of have a shortage of people we can trust, with Nik and Elijah in New Orleans".

"Right" Aria said, "Why are they in New Orleans again?".

"One of Nik's minion informed him about Marcel Gerard, Nik's adoptive son, being alive and having taken control of New Orleans" Kol replied, "The city that Nik and Elijah built, and you know your best friend, he couldn't have someone else be king of a city he built, so him and Elijah have gone to New Orleans to take the city back, but don't worry, they both have promised to keep visiting".

Aria nodded, "They better do".

"Now that's clear, tell me Ria, what's the first thing on the list of bringing down the veil?" Damon asked.

"We need the tombstone that Katherine stole" Aria revealed.

Caroline was walking in the woods, trying to distract herself, from calling Klaus and begging him to return.

Ever since Klaus has left, Caroline couldn't stop thinking about him, before leaving Klaus had promised Caroline that he will come back to her, but that still didn't stop Caroline from missing him, from wanting to be near him, from wishing that Klaus didn't have to leave, she got why he had to leave, she just wished she could be with him, but they both knew Caroline couldn't leave Aria alone.
