It was a dark Thursday night and I was running to the door of the vet clinic not caring about the rain since on my way home I accidentally hit a dog. I saw the closed sign but I knew Scott was there still so I banged on the door until he came and answered it.
"Omg Ella, what are you doing here?" he asked me with a concerned look on his face.
" I've been trying to call you but that's beside the point I hit a dog on my way home from Lydias, can you help me It's in my car, " I said through tears
"Yeah of course," He said flowing me to my car and helping me carry the cute white-furred Chiweenie in my back seat inside the clinic. Once we were inside Scott hugged me and said "I think her leg is broken, I've seen the doctor do plenty of splints. I can do it myself and then give her a painkiller for now" I nodded and started to shiver
"I have a shirt in my bag if you want," he said when he noticed I was shivering
"Yes, please," I said nodding my head while he went and got his shirt.
"You can change in there if you want," Scott said pointing to a side room, I gave him a peck on the cheek and made my way to the room noticing that he looked at me when I took off my shirt. I put the way to the big shirt on noticing it smelt like him which made me smile and made my way back to him.
"Thank you for doing this bubs, I feel a little stupid," I said looking down
"No problem, also why do you feel stupid?" He said as he wrapped his arms around me
"I don't know. 'Cause I freaked out like a total girl." I said pulling myself closer to him
"You are a girl," He said with a laugh, looking down at me
"I freaked out like a girly girl, and you know I'm not a girly girl," I said as I wiped a tear away. With my free hand
" Hey, I'd be freaked out, too. In fact i'd probably even cry. and not like a man either, like the biggest girly girl ever." He said placing a kiss on my forehead
"It'd be pathetic," he said which made me laugh
"Yeah right," I said pushing some hair out of my face, and then turned to him and gave him a quick kiss
" Well, babe it looks like she's gonna live. And I'm pretty sure she'll even let you pet her now if you want," he said
"I don't think so." I said looking sadly at the dog
"Oh come on you don't want her to sue, I hear this breed is very litigious," He said smiling at me, I went and petted the dog who to my surprise let me pet her
"See babe she likes you," he said while giving me yet another smile then stopped suddenly putting his hand on my face, and took something off of it
"Why'd you do that, not that I mined ?" I asked
He laughed and said "You had an eyelash on your check"
"Oh." I said with a little frown
"What?" he asked giving me a confused look
"I thought you were gonna do something else is all." I said
"And that would be ?" He asked still looking confused
"This," I said while grabbing his face and kissing him with all the passion and love I could muster still not believing I could kiss him anytime I wanted. He grabbed me even closer deepening the kiss. Lick my lips to grant entry has his tongue slipped in my mouth, dancing around with mine for what felt like forever. I didn't want it to end but we ended up having to break away so we could breathe, I looked at him and said "That was amazing"
