on tuesday you opened your eyes to see a strange being at the other end of your bed and you really wanted to scream but 'would you like breakfast' came out instead
maybe the terror shows in your eyes though because xe smiles and replies 'i'm your guardian angel, gabriel' and now, as you look back, you wonder how you did not see that xir teeth were glass shards
angels don't eat breakfast but they do show up everyday to spend the morning with you, or at least gabriel did. you can't blame yourself for what happened next although you really wish you could.
( lonely people latch on desperately to offered tethers )
in august gabriel appeared in your life and in october you fell in love with xem in your boring lonely life
in the cool morning air of autumn gabriel kissed you for the first time and it tasted like the birth of a new star: honey sweet and fruity fresh with a touch of cinnamon pumpkin, electric and mind numbing
...too sweet & too fruity
just like sickly sweet rotting fruit, but back then you were a starving girl
( starving people will eat anything )
gabriel kissed you and touched you and loved you and
left you
in december and now you're here wondering why you let xem in so easily
you should have screamed when you had the chance, back in august
