"man, it's so dark out!" chenle said as you two headed down the hallway of the empty and dark building.

"well, we would've been out by now if you didn't forget set the timers. then we wouldn't had to restart the whole thing," you said to him and pushed a door open to exit the hallway. "i'll work on the report tomorrow. i'm so tired from today," you said as he walked through.

"want to meet up again?" chenle asked, and the two of you continued walking.

"tomorrow? yea, sure. same time?" you asked him.

"works with me," he agreed and walked in front of you to open the door that would lead you outside, but the door wouldn't budge. "huh?" he tried to open the door again, but again, the door would not open.

you tried to open the door next to it, but that door wouldn't open either.

"what is going on?" you questioned.

chenle looked around the lobby area. "let me try these doors," he said and jogged to another set of doors. he tried to open the doors, but they wouldn't open either. "we're trapped," he said and walked back to you.

"since when do the doors automatically lock?" you asked in confusion. "this never happens when i stay late."

"maybe it's a malfunction or something. i'll call campus security. do you know the phone number?" he asked you.

you shook your head. both of you took your phones out. you looked up the phone number for campus security while chenle waited to type the number in.

"oh, found it," you said and showed him the number.

he typed the number in and called campus security.

"is anyone answering?" you asked.

"it's still ringing," he said and waited for a few seconds. "hello?" he suddenly spoke. "hi, i'm in the science and math building, but the doors are locked. me and my friend are stuck in here. yea. okay, thank you," he hung up. "someone is on their way," he said to you.

you nodded.

"hey, we didn't eat dinner," chenle realized. "do you want to get a bite to eat?" he asked you.

"now? i'm too tired," you said to him.

"but we need to eat. come on, let's just get a quick bite. i'll drive us," he urged you. "come on, y/n," he grabbed your arm and shook you, "let's go eat," he whined.

you rolled your eyes and sighed. "fine, but i better be in my room by midnight," you said to him, making him smile. "now let go of me!" you said and pulled your arm out of his grasp.

"don't say that. you love when i give you hugs!" he said and suddenly hugged you tight.

"let go of me!" you squirmed but chenle kept laughing and hugging you. both of you completely forgetting that you two were still waiting on campus security to get to two of you out of the building.
