Kalani takes a sip of her beer before she makes eye contact with Klaus. "Hey!" She calls walking up to him. "I didn't know you were here," she says trying to speak over the loud music. "Have you been drinking?" Klaus asks as she holds her cup to him. "Lukewarm beer. Want some?" She asks as he frowns. "Eww," he says as she giggles.

"How's my hybrid?" Klaus asks as Kalani nods. "Maxi, he's perfect. Truly a treasure," she says moving her body along to the music. "That's good. Another question," he says as she nods. "Shoot," she says taking another sip of her beer. "This is your first round right?" He asks as she shrugs. "No, I've been drinking a lot," she responds.

"No, I mean were you born in this generation? You're actually eighteen right?" He asks as she shrugs. "I'm actually seventeen. I died last year," she responds. "Then do something for me," he says placing his hand on her shoulder. "As long as it isn't weird," she says as he laughs. "Turn on your humanity," he says as she frowns. "Why?" She questions. "Just do it," he says but this time he compels her and she does it.

"Woah," she says before she walks away. "Kalani," a voice calls as she turns to see Adelaide. "I'm sorry," she says walking up to the girl. "For what?" Adelaide asks as Kalani pulls her into a hug. "I'm so sorry," she whispers resting her head on the girl's shoulder.
