With your combined effort on the bicycle, and holding your phone to the handle, you were soon racing down the streets, being careful not to run into any crying children. You had only been going for about ten minutes, till you suddenly noticed the adults floating back down, onto the street, meaning the superheroes had managed to stop Nino.

You were so busy looking around that you didn't notice a brick jutting out, and then went flying through the air, as the front wheel was promptly stopped. You let out a screech, and placed your arms over your head, preparing to hit the ground.

But the impact never came.

Instead, a set of arms wrapped around you, and you were jolted violently, as the person who'd caught you landed neatly on their feet. "Didn't know you were going for a flight today," they remarked slyly.

You opened one eye experimentally, to see a rather proud Chat Noir, his smile teasing as he raised an eyebrow at you. You blanked, before choking on your own spit, "Excuse me?!"

"I noticed that you were in quite the hurry to leave the Agreste Manor," the hero explained, setting you back on your feet. "I was curious, so I went back to find you after I took care of that villain."

"I… appreciate your concern," you mumbled in a flustered manner, picking up your phone that was on the ground, still processing the fact that this man literally carried you. "But I must go. Sorry."

You turned back to the bike, yet before you could approach it, Chat Noir grasped your hand; "Hold on," he instructed, and when you glanced back at him, he smirked and pointed to himself, "how about I take you where you want to go? I'll be much faster, I promise."

"Don't you have other business to attend to?" you asked, unsure as to whether to take him up on the offer.

"My business is to help the citizens of Paris," he replied smoothly, extending his stick, and holding out his hand with a wink. "Where to?"

You looked at his hand, then back to the bike; an image of your father's corpse flashed through your mind, and your brow furrowed in worry. Then, you hesitantly lifted your own, and very carefully placed it into his. His gloved fingers instantly curled over your own with a reassuring warmth, as he grinned toothily at your acceptance.

Without warning, he brought an arm under your knees, and whisked you upwards, till you were pressed against his chest, which caused you to stiffen up. He looked down at you, with a broad smile, "So? Where to?"

"... the printing office of the Observer, on Avenue La Collette," you mumbled.

"Gotcha," Chat Noir replied, "remember to hold on tight, ok?"

When you looked at him quizzically, he sighed, and shook his head, before placing your arms around his neck, so that you were now basically clinging onto him. You were about to protest, not used to the lack of space between you two, when he suddenly jumped up into the air.

Oh fuck no, this had been a bad idea.

You shut your eyes tightly again, and tried to make yourself as small as humanly possible, as you felt wind rush over you. Since you were so terrified of falling, you ended up holding onto Chat Noir much tighter than you'd anticipated, much to your embarrassment.
