"Slim can you come to the corner store with me." Baby asked.
"Yeah come one." Slim got up.
"You want me to go to CVS for you." She looked at me.
"Nah i'm good. I love you." I gave her a kiss.
"I love you too." She walked out locking the door behind her.
"Da." Boogie walked out with his hearing aid in his hand and this lil teddy bear that Jayda got him for build-a-bear. She had got it before we went to Dubai. It say "I love you." In creole or some shit.
"Come on." I sat up.
"Where mama go." He pouted.
"She went to the store to get some snacks." He sat in my lap and I put the hearing aid in his ear.
"You wanna watch paw patrol." I asked him putting the blanket over us.
"Mhm." He nodded putting his binky in his mouth.

I woke up and put Jaden back in his bed.
I went to check my room to see if Jayda was in there but she wasn't.
"What the fuck." I mumbled checking the bathroom. She wasn't in there.
I checked all around the house and she wasn't there.
"Where this girl at. It's 1 in the morning." I checked my phone seeing I had hella miss calls from Slim , Trey, all nem except for Jayda.
"Bruh come to the candler hospital." K3 wiped his face once the facetime connected.
"Ight bruh." I hung up running upstairs to get boogie.
"Fuck them shoes." I ran out the house with socks on and some jogging pants with no shirt on.
"Da where we going." He mumbled as I put him in his car seat.
"Just sit back Jaden." I got in the driver side speeding to Candler Hospital.

"Man where Jayda at." I passed Boogie to Lani.
Nobody said nothing. Everybody just had they head down.
"Bruh where the fuck is Baby at." I raised my voice.
"Man she in surgery." K3 mumbled.
"What happened." I looked at slim.
"We was at CVS cause baby said she had to get you and boogie medicine. We both got out the car and she got y'all stuff. I wanted this bear so she said she would wait on me. When I got done she was on the ground blood everywhere." She started pulling her twist. She do that when she scared.
"So somebody shot her." My voice cracked.
"Yea." She wiped her face.
"Man it's my fault. I should never got that stupid ass bear." She looked at me.
"It's not your fault bruh." I rubbed my ear sitting down.
Bout 2 hours later they still ain't come out.
"Excuse me ma'am." I walked up to the front desk.
"Yes sir." She looked at me.
"Do you have any information on Jayda Smith." I asked.
She started typing on her computer.
"No sir she is still in surgery." She frowned looking at me.
"Thank you." I wiped my face going back to sit down.
"What they say." Demon walked in the hospital with blood on his shirt.
"She still in surgery." I mumbled looking at boogie.
"Hey pa angel." He smiled.
"Hey B." He faked a smile.
"Da where mama." He frowned looking around.
"Family of Jayda Ranae Smith." Some dude came out causing all of us to jump up.
"I'm sorry to inform you but...."
