Chapter 20

Him- Chan (Kane)

Gunshots come from the kitchen followed by screams, seems like someone decided to show up. Everyone gets up from their seats and we all get into action, I grab my gun and run to where the gunshots are coming from and I find Ji-ah on the floor and bleeding. I quickly pick her up and move her from there and put her in one of the guest rooms downstairs. I left the other house maids to take care of her, they were trained for situations like these. 

I rush back to the kitchen and Lin's men are still firing at us, I crawl and hide behind the counter, once the gunshots stop and Lin's men enter the house, I shoot one of them in the leg and he falls to the ground, I then shoot his head as he was falling. Jin and Jay were next to me and we started shooting as much guys as we could.

Lin's men were a lot so we had to move to the other side of the house. My men were outside trying to handle the situation, but Lin came with a whole fucking army, great isn't he, I always knew this man was crazy. I heard a scream from the lounge "nae salang" I whispered to myself. I got up and rushed over there, with Jin and Jay still covering me.

When I got to the lounge, I see Naomi bleeding from her shoulder and Imani stabbing one of the enemies. I rushed to Naomi and ripped her sleeve off and tied the piece of fabric around her wound. Another guy walked in and was aiming a gun at me, as I was about to grab my gun, Imani puts a bullet through the fuckers skull and he falls to the ground, I fall more in love with this Melanin Goddess every second. I get up and help Naomi up, Imani rushes to us and helps Naomi.

I couldn't wait any longer, I was to patient for to long, this could be the last time we see each other. I grab Imani's waist and pull her towards me and give her a kiss, she paused for a second before she kissed me back, I licked her lower lip asking for an entrance and she let me in. Our tongue's danced in each others mouths. I wanted to deepen the kiss but Imani pulled away and looked at Naomi who was in shock.

"We are at war here". Naomi says and we all get back to the war we are in. I grab Imani before she could run off and I whisper in her ear. "We will continues this later", and I kiss her forehead. "Then make sure you come back to me", she says in her soft angelic voice before running off to where Naomi was.

I run to the gun carboard and get extra cases for Jin, Jay and I. I rushed to the kitchen and I through the cases at Jin and Jay. I reloaded my gun as fast as I could then I started shooting at the intruders. One of them grabbed me from behind and tried to choke me, I flipped him over and grabbed his arm as he was falling, and I shot him right in the head. Jin ran upstairs to go check on Khalani, Jay and I went to go find Lin, I promised Imani that I was going to torture Lin and her foster mother with my own two arms.
