Me and the strange new girl sat in silence.

I nervously shook my leg, because... as you all know, I HATE silence.

"So, plan on telling me why you decided to just randomly push me over I the hall?" I challenged.

She glared at me for a moment, but then gave up.

"You were in my way." She grumbled.

"You could have just asked me to move!"

"Yeah... I'm not that kind of person."

"Apparently not. Look, my name is Christina. And who are you? Apparently your new."

"No duh. I'm Kaylee."

"Well you sure put up one heck of a fight."

"You too."

We both laughed at that thought. Why, because she ended up with a brused jaw and broken nose. I ended up with a black eye and a busted lip.

I sighed. "Well, I think we started off on the wrong foot."

She smiled at me. "Yeah, I think so too. Want to start over?"

"Sure!" I chirped.

"Okay." She whispered. "But don't tell anyone I'm being nice. I don't want people thinking I'm one of those.... nice people."

I laughed at her attitude. "I won't tell. So.. we good?"

She laughed. "Yeah, were good."

We were interrupted by the sound of a door slamming against a wall. I jumped and turned around as quickly as possible. And in the doorway stood Miss Ross.

Now, I forgot to mention one little thing about Miss Ross... She's loud. Everything she does is loud. She talks loud, she works loud, which since she's a nurse should be quiet. She even opens and closes doors loud.

"Girls get back to class." Miss Ross shouted.

"But my eye still hurts." I complained.

"Yeah, and my nose still hurts." Kaylee complained.

"Sorry girls, you must get to class." She shouted once more.

I sighed and got up off of the chair I was sitting in. Kaylee did the same. We were almost out of the room when Miss Ross spoke.

"Oh, and girls. Your wanted in the office."

"What? That's not fair." I complained.

"Yeah, were fine." Kaylee agreed.

"Wern't were you two in a fight?" Miss Ross asked.

"Yes but-"

"Well, rules are rules."

Kaylee and I made our way out of the nurses office and we walked down the hall twards our lockers.

"Arnt we supposed to go to the office?" Kaylee asked.

I looked at her in shock. "Really? The girl who wants this tough person rap wants to be a goody-goody? Listen up. These rules-"

I pointed to a list of rules on a poster in the hallway.

"-are stupid. I could care less what they say."

I opened my locker and got out my books.

"Let me see your schedule."

"Excuse me?"

"Please."

"Thank you."

She handed me her schedule and I took a look at it.

"Darn, we only have two classes together."

"Which ones?"

"First and second period."

"Well lets go, I don't want to be late my first day." Kaylee said.

"Ugh, fine." I grunted.

We stopped at her locker, got her books, and headed off to first period.
