Chapter 59

Pranee fearing for her life was a feeling that seemed to appear a lot more frequently the past few days.

It was probably the most fear she ever felt in her life ever since she left the palace.

She and Tanet had split off while Shashi went to attack Ubol. They soared through the air and were trying their best to distract her. Anuman and Bayu were also doing their best as they sent out a fury of attacks towards her. Even Wipa had joined in on the fight by trying to tie Ubol's feet with what looked like magical rope from her staff.

She swatted away the attacks effortlessly and just had a furious look in her eyes.

Wipa gritted her teeth before running towards her. Shashi mimicked Wipa as they flew towards Ubol. They weren't going to keep her back for long and she'll reach Tanet and Pranee at any time.

"This isn't good. Even with four people, she's too powerful," Tanet muttered before glancing towards Pranee.

"What should we do?" Pranee

"Pranee."

"Yes...?"

"Run away."

"What?!" Pranee's jaw went slack. "No. There has to be a better way."

"Um, your highnesses?" Chann's meek voice broke through their conversation.

Pranee saw that Chann was holding the sword from the cave and the supplies. On the top of the pile, there were many sheets that they had used to sleep on.

Pranee pursed her lips and as her eyes fixated on the battle. "Chann, how many blankets did we bring?"

Ubol readied her staff before she let out another gust of wind sending the flying wizard off the staff. The wizard seemed to regain balance but her attention was already elsewhere.

A sudden blow to her head made her stagger backwards. Her eyes landed on the two wizards, one of whom had a smoke staff from her attack. She had a hard time detecting that wizard and the flying one. Whether it was a surprise or not that the royal siblings had a couple of wizards from Aslo was none of her concern.

She summoned roots from the ground to wrap around the wizards' ankles and dragged them to the ground.

"You forgot about me."

Wipa jumped towards Ubol with her staff raised in the air. Ubol dodged and kicked the back of her leg.

"I was wondering if you were going to stick around long enough." She lifted the brim of her hat to get a better look at Wipa's face.

"Just kill them already, they're all just in the way." The snake whispered in her ear but she ignored it.

Wipa gave a slanted smile. "Well, I've never thought I would have to see you again quite honestly. How about we resolve this another way? We don't need to fight."

"If you're suggesting that we share the same bed again, then I'll have to decline." Her staff was pointed at the wizard in a defensive stance.

"Why's that?"

"I don't have much time to stop my own wedding."

A thick fog enveloped the area and she could only see Wipa's silhouette.

"What tricks are you playing?" Ubol shouted.

All around Ubol, she could hear various footsteps running all around her. They were making their escape.

"Snake, can you smell the royal siblings?"

It swayed its head as it licked the air with its tongue. It then recoiled and hissed. "They covered up the scent with another naga's."

Her face formed into a scowl and she raised her staff into the air. She flung into the air and tried to find any signs of people. She was able to see two groups of shadows running in different directions. Allthe figures had on what seemed to be cloaks on which only made it harder toidentify who was who.

"They split up, which one should I follow?"

Before the snake could respond, she was able to hear a yell.

"This way your majesties! We can't afford to lose you two."

Ubol then smiled before she chose a group to follow.
