After walking super badass to the dumpsters, we threw Miguel's crutches and wheelchair away.

Sensei and I have been training Miguel to walk again. We set up an obstacle course, we had him doing sit-ups, we had him doing leg workouts, Sensei even made me do some of these... But it all worked. R

Miguel could walk, Sensei wasn't sulking anymore, and neither was I. I've got my best friend healed, a great boyfriend... I'm on a roll!

Sensei decided he's gonna start a new dojo.
Miguel and I have been trying to think of good names for it.

"Alright, what about "Johnny Lawrence Karate"?" Miguel suggested. I looked over to him with a grimace and shook my head. He pursed his lips and continued to think.

We were all in Sensei's apartment brainstorming ideas. Well, Miguel and I were brainstorming. Sensei was just staring mindlessly at his computer.

"Strike Hard Karate?" Miguel suggested another. "Eh, it's not terrible, but I think we could come up with something better." I shrugged. I pushed my hair out of my face, thinking it would somehow make me think better.

"Sensei?" Miguel asked, trying to get some kind of input from him. He still didn't respond. Miguel came over and sat at the kitchen table with Sensei and I. "Come on. We're trying to think of names for our new dojo." I said to Sensei.

"How long does it take for Facebook messages to get delivered?" He asked us. I huffed and laid my head on the table. Miguel sat silent, staring at him. "Ali lives in Colorado, so probably a while, right?" Sensei asked again.

I shook my head in my arms while my head was still down. "It's instantaneous." I mumbled, but it came out muffled. "What'd she say?" Sensei asked. "She said it's instantaneous." Miguel clarified. Johnny stared at him blankly.

"How the hell did you understand her?" He asked, eyebrows furrowed. Miguel scoffed playfully. "Please. She's my best friend. I'm pretty skilled in understanding what she's saying during her tantrums."

I smiled and looked up again. "I'm not throwing a tantrum!" I said. The two guys looked at each other and laughed. I playfully rolled my eyes.

"What about "All American Karate"?" I suggested. Sensei shook his head. "It's not good enough." He said. "We need something that tells everyone we're the most badass dojo in the Valley."

"Yeah. It sucks that Cobra Kai's such a badass name." Miguel said, while I nodded in agreement. Sensei sat back in this chair. "What if we just keep that?" He suggested.

"But we spell the cobra with a K. They can call us triple K." Sensei continued. My eyebrows furrowed and my eyes squinted as I looked at Sensei. I imagine Miguel was doing the same.

"Like KKK?" Miguel and I asked simultaneously.

It was quiet between everyone for a moment. "Yeah, it's probably a bad idea..." Sensei admitted. "Alright, whatever. We'll figure it out. First, we need some students." He said.

"It's Miguel's first day back at school today. We could do some recruiting together." I suggested. Miguel nodded in agreement. "But Sensei, where are we gonna train?" Miguel asked. We all stood up from Sensei's kitchen table.

"You let me worry about that." Sensei smirked.

Miguel and I stood together outside of the school. We studied the building. It's been a while since I've been here with Miguel. It reminded me of our first day of school together...
